Interesting stuff... The top image seems to show a 4-MIRV configuration...that would be in line with the roadmap shown in the old slides. Can't really tell if this is the A6 land-based missile or K5 SLBM though (they both will have extremely similar profiles).

Definitely one of the most impressive space programs in Asia (and the world) right now - great to see South Korea doing it step by step, the right way, covering all bases. Orbital rockets & ballistic missiles are two sides of the same coin. If someone claims to have developed one but not the...

The composite materials content on the LCA is extremely high among fighter aircraft - surpassed only by the EF Typhoon. From a Boeing publication:

GODOFPARADOXES is teasing us with something...I can't say for sure what it is but seems like the SWiFT flying wing demonstrator. We did hear that it conducted taxiing trials a while back... For comparison...

This will have interesting implications on the 3GPP grouping as well. 4 out of the 7 organizational partners of the 3GPP (majority) are from the 3 QUAD nations of US, India & Japan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/3GPP The organizational partners are representatives of the Governments of the...

While an increased level of defence-industrial collaboration with France is to be expected post-AUKUS, considering India now remains the only big player left in the IOR with which large-scale maritime cooperation remains possible, the level of French participation in the SSN (or the S-5 SSBN**)...

The past & present of IAF's tank-busting spearhead: And an LCH:

Dunno about this...this should have been a strategic program with highest priority accorded, but the lack of any visible progress for over a decade (first time the LFRJ project was revealed was in 2010) indicates the program may have been abandoned as a means of strategic nuclear delivery - the...

Working with the RAN will form an important part of maintaining security & surveillance of the air, surface (and sub-surface) in and around IOR and the wider Indo-Pacific for decades to come. The Chinese threat will take decades to address, as long or even longer than the Soviets. Building...

I was speaking from the point of view of long-term storage inside hermetically-sealed canisters. Mate the payloads, fill the xenon, and lock it up in a ready-to-launch canister for when the time comes. Like BMs, they would probably be opened up from time to time for inspection.

It would depend on what DSA's doctrine & requirements are. If they are serious about canisterization & long-term storage of prepared satellite payloads, SSLV would be too big. That's why probably decided on a platform that uses K4 SLBM booster stage (which our ASAT missile also uses).
