Give me $10mn and 3 years and get
A similar VTOL to the Harrier with
Stealth features,
%70 of its speed and
%20 percent of its payload capability
Without avionics and weapons (I give it empty)
at 25% of the prize
to be based 100% on existing Turkish technology
an LHD monster
Why don't you pitch it to Turkish Aerospace?

I am a self taught engineer.
And they don't make it easy to pitch this kind of stuff.
They are probably overwhelmed with crazy suggestions that go nowhere.

I have other projects on hand that have priority and easier to do.
I will only take the trouble to go ahead with this if a war breaks and I have to be patriotic.

I was wondering if you'd considered using a University as a door opener. If you could get some high ranking ppl from a university to give you a salespitch/recommendation.

I mean if our defence industry is working together with some universities then I'm sure they'd do some verifications evaluation of the project and promote you to appropriate defence industry. I hope.

I would suggest that you'd pitch your ideas/inventions at least. If not TAI then maybe SSB.
You don't have to apply for a position if you're self-taught but you may get financial support to do an indepenent research project. You never know! It might work but you have to try at least.

I once visited one of our top University's renowned professor to ask for help and the approach was not promising. It was for a civilian project though and it was 5 years ago. Many things have changed since then though some changed in the wrong way as even small kids have started making air vehicles albeit small ones and such projects are considered a dime a dozen.

It would be best to get a Tübitak grant to do research in coordination with SAGE, after all SkunkWorks projects need to be made with the DARPA of the country. I will keep looking into breaking out the ideas as far as I can and as long as I can. This is a war in itself as there is attrition to it.

You could also contact Selcuk Bayraktar/Teknofest. I think they'd listen to you and maybe work together.

If you are able to, first get a project grant from Tübitak (collaborate with someone if a degree is a must, or choose to way of going with KOBİ support by establishing a KOBİ) Tubitak accepts anything as long as it is sound and rational, well-established on theory and by simulations, If you go to Tubitak with claim of " i will develop an engine" it doesn't pass beyond first review, not even to jury or panels. SAGE is within themselves for weapon developments. If it worth, you will definitely be invited to SAGE or recruited by them.

Don't underestimate people working on some projects becauce you can do a few sketches or squeeze some ideas, there is a thin line between disrespect and self-confidence and i suggest you to not disrespect people actually working in projects by underestimating them, with your over-confidence.

Actually they are really open to contact.

How did you make that out?

If you want to know the worth of things I would suggest you to find and listen to what Temel Kotil said about people when he first started the MMU project. And stop mixing things together. The engine I sketched was in my way to learning sketching. At that time it was more valuable than it is today as most engineers don't even know how to do it and those who do lack in other areas. And don't just judge by the amount of info you are told, there is always more to everything there is than revealed to you.

Your attitude, telling things like " give me $10 million and i will do it"
" I have already made this but they are not listening to me"
"I have already designed a TJ even better than them, i can make it faster than them if this much money is given"

Not Enough to conclude how you underestimate these projects and people working on them?, this is disrespect.

You are free to promote yourself and your projects, tell about how well you are self- educated but some engineers can't do things you are able to do, or tell about you know many things, but you are not free to disrespect people working in critical projects.

It is just your perception.
I have already sad I won't be doing the whole thing, its is just the propulsion.

Why not, how can you put a limit to what I can do and what I can't?
Didn't you ever see what the younger Selçuk B. looked in his video where he presented his tiny model plane to the authorities of the time. Who would even look at something that doesn't even have the ambition in it. It is knowing the right value of things. You have to compare your work with others and assert that yours is better. It is not about feelings.

I can warn you when you disrespect people, especially some which i know closely spending their nights and days on projects which you claim to finalize in some months or a year, otherwise i don't really care what you are telling here.

Ever checked his background and cooperation with people in Army even before he has built that tiny plane? He made claims which made sense, and gradually increased his claims and target eventually to have a team he can rely on, and aim what he truly dreams.
Ever watched documents on Bill gates? Don't you know how he has started before dreaming big for an OS ?
For Selçuk:
He has never told "give me this much amount and i will make a MALE"
He has told give me this much, maybe, and i will make this tactical UAS (TB1) demonstared his capabilities before requesting such a thing with scaled products, simulations, technical background.
In the second stage he has told "for this much money i can upgrade TB1 to TB2, the reference was his prior jobs, and again technical analysis
and when he went for Akıncı he had sufficient reference and experience to be relied on. He again didn't explicitly tell "give me this much and i will make a TIHA" , he told something else to assure people.

We can open a poll along with your messages where you made your claims on such projects and ask people if it is disrespect or not?
Making claims that I can do is not disrespect.
Your claim that I can not do is disrespect.

Turkey is doing everything right now to create another internal problem, back in the 80/90s over a million Kurds were taken by Özal, now over 4 million Syrians/Afghans...

With the refugees everything went from good/ok to shit in Turkey, economy, peace within the population, crime rates...
