If the stupid guy had chosen a high caliber sniper rifle, Trump's body would not have been found. Even if there had been 2 people in front of him, let alone bulletproof vests, he still wouldn't have survived. Man, with a high caliber rifle, you would have had Trump's body collected from that square in a sack.

Shooter actually did hit Trump but he was wearing a protective vest. There's a photograph floating around showing a bullet hole in Trump's clothes. And if you listen to the audio from the event, you can identify the shooter getting off at least 2-3 shots before the Secret Service start firing back.
