I remember when Kaptajn was around he'd say PAF were in need of combat helicopters to deal with insurgents, all I can say is that the border with Afghanistan is freaking long and difficult to control. Atak helicopters would have been a great addition, but imo Pakistan needs 200-300 TB2 and some MALE ones for intelligence gathering. Plus some solid constructions to enforce border control. I think cleaning your own side from elements that can attack you is the wise choice.
Pakistan makes Shahpur UCAVs and alot of recon, fpv drones too. We have a big enough UAV fleet. Helis like ATAK are overkill against flip flop wearing militiamen.

Iran put concrete walls on its borders with Afghanistan. We need properly seal the border and 24/7 recon. And expulsion of all illegal Afghan refugees. Keep striking TTP hideouts in Afghanistan and next time if TTA retaliates to help TTP, drop 2000lb bombs on them. We have too many lying in weapon dumps.

Irans border with Afghanistan isn't nearly as long as Pakistans so doing the same would cost a lot of money.

Pakistan does not have the will nor capability to engage in a conflict in Afghanistan. Their leadership and colonial military are inherently cowards, corrupt and only seeking to exploit the people of Pakistan for their own person interests. All which is needed is a small push from Afghanistan and the people of Pakistan will crucify their leaders and colonial military themselves. Only then can the region prosper.

Your Talib boys fled their posts on the Afghan side of border and arent let back by us. The hunt will continue

Haven't the Afghans fought enough? Where did the war with Pakistan come from now? It's best for both sides to stay away from war. Afghanistan Pakistan war only benefits its enemies, it is not good for no one

Agree. The current conflict started after Pakistan bombed an Afghan village claiming to target a TTP base. 52 civilians were killed, many children and women.

Given this aggression, Afghanistan decided to launch a military campaign against Pakistan, which has so far lead to many military outposts inside Pakistan being captured. Additionally, Afghanistan has instructed and armed TTP now to carry attacks in the rear. Several dozens Pakistani military personnel have been killed so far.

Does Taliban do anything to prevent TTP attacks from Afghanistan against Pakistan, regardless of the durandline issue ?

Also as I remember a lot of Afgangs moved to Pakistan held areas in the past, escaping from Sovjet, Taliban etc.

I mean Turkey accepted 1 mio kurds from Iraq fleeing saddams killing spree back in 80-90s and we still have shitload of problems with them claiming Turkish land as Kurdish land.

So our problem with PKK is an example of Afghanistans responsibility to prevent the attacks from TTP against Pakistan.

E.g. Iraq and Syrians responsibility to stop attacks from their soil against Türkiye.

Afghans should stop fighting constantly like sub zero IQ cavemen and start developing their country. Yall should see the hunger index of their population. Even Pakistan donated them wheat etc.

The thing is Afghans want to do more than what they can chew. Not considering the border as permanent, calling TTP as their branch and having these delusions of taking our territory which India couldn't do.

Turk bretheren here would understand it more easy. What yall face with PKK, we exactly face that issue with TTP. And unlike Turks, our leadership is very gentle on our adversaries. Smh

Pakistani Defense Minister Khawaja Asif announced the start of open war against the Taliban government in Afghanistan. He stated, "The Taliban have turned Afghanistan into an Indian colony, gathered terrorists from all over the world, deprived their own people of basic human rights, and stripped women of their rights." It's worth noting that Afghanistan currently remains the only country in the world where girls over 12 are banned from studying, and universities are completely closed to women.

There are conflicting reports of casualties in the fighting. Pakistani media reports that 72 Afghan soldiers were killed and another 120 wounded in the attacks. Afghanistan, for its part, claims 55 Pakistani soldiers were killed in a border operation.
A Pakistani Air Force F-16 fighter jet was hit by a MANPADS. The Taliban is using suicide bombers to attack Pakistani checkpoints; one of them is shown in a video, but the moment of the explosion is edited out.
