I have got confirmation by Mr.Sunnetci that it is the otherwise
Yeah and he confuses it with Block 1 or whomever has given him that information was not clear enough.

Or it is doing of SSB to rename Hisar-U as Siper to cause this confusion.

What's your source? Because he said that booster version won't be quadpacked
What / Who is his source?

My source is logic, i know MILDAS / MIDLAS to tiny detail and approximate dimensions of Siper Block 2 (aka real siper).

Roketsan CEO has confirmed that Block 1 (Booster one) will be quadpacked and used from MIDLAS few weeks ago. I exactly told this in this forum, in the date which Block 1's trial is released to public for first time.

Also use your logic, what makes more sense to be quadpacked? A missile in ESSM-ER configuration or one in the same class as SM-3 ?

I wish they would try the trench block 1 against the Roketsan's bora missile, typhoon missile and artillery rockets such as 122, 230 mm. What an effect.

It was previously said that the Barak 8 missile intercepted a ballistic rocket in the Karabakh war. I wonder if our first generation trench missile will achieve this success?

Siper Block 2 is the real Siper and it won't be quadpacked.
Siper Block 1 (Hisar RF with a booster) will be quadpacked.

Been telling this for a year or so. I am tired.
Bookmarking it for future reference, thank you so much for your insight!

Wings are foldable. Also does the booster look not as bulky as before? Or is it my eyes?

What struck me is that the nozzle and exhaust jet are blurred out. Very interesting. Watch for the white gap they missed:

Exactly, Banshee 80 plus or NG is just a rung. I'm looking forward to the tests you described.

"The SİPER Long-Range Area Air and Missile Defense System project includes the following components:

Long-Range Search Radar (UMAR)
Multi-Function Fire Control Radar (ÇFAKR)
Fleet Control Center
Fire Control Center
Product-1 Missile: range of 100+ km, RF seeker head"

We should make support vehicles armoured, trained personnel is more important than the missiles.

if we gonna quad pack not Hisar RF but Siper Block 1 it has serious implication since then the question is who else in the world has a quad packed 100 km range SAM with a booster?

That's related your vls width and missile diameter. İf you can design your vls more wider you can do it. But in the west pact most of the vls producer countries doesnt need to this. Just because they are capable to equip their ships to enough numbered vls systems.

But our problem is diffrent. We need air defence ships immdeatly but first of a possible air defence ship will take a long 4-6 year. Other systems we have or produced have less numbered vls due his ship sizes.

So we need a interm solution until acceptable air defence destoryer fleet size. Most logical and less costly option is using 2 barbaros track II and Tcg istanbul like a Air defence frigate until first Tf-2000 after the another +3 istif and +1 tf-2000 detroyer cards will be redistributed.

Cenk-s on İstif and Smart-s Mk2 + Mar-d + Akr-d on Barbaros Yöm seems capable to operate siper and Genesis Advent is a capable BMS to improve its effiency .

But

16 vls system is not enough for acceptable missile carriage for air defence frigate. So we need multiple pack a missiles. I cannot think siper in a quadpack but doublepack more reliable.

Sm-2 with 343mm theoretically doublepackable.

Atmaca is have 350mm diameter booster seems same with atmaca.

İn a last video seems booster more tight . And looks like its doublepackable.

16 Siper and 32 Essm/Hisar-Rf seems enough per ship until Tf-2000

Who said that Siper has a range of 100 km?

It all depends on how many launchers you can simultaneously control and how many missiles you can fire simultaneously within range of the fire control radar. We know that the fire control radar has a range of more than 350 km. Therefore, it seems possible to increase the range to 250 km by leaving certain distances between the launchers.

Only 9 sets of Korkut :( this is really low in my opinion. Ukrainian war showed that close range AA is also really important, we have to increase its numbers.

It's tough call though, do we want more SPAAGs or more MANPADs?

I feel like MANPADs are more useful in current UKR-RUS conflict, with Ukrainians taking out cruise missiles with their IGLAs and multiple types of aerial vehicles with British STARSTREAK missiles.

SUNGUR is a very capable missile, I'd like to see current Stinger carried 'ATILGAN/ZIPKIN' vehicles updated - they are getting dated now.
