Baykar TB-3 and TCG Anadolu (3D) launching system.
Yes simple catapult solution to launch UAVs only with minimal change, for arresting UAVs (TB3) a "net" could be used instead of cable which would be easier and simpler. Minimal change on the deck would allow TCG Anadolu to be ready to operate any future F35B too.Looks like a simple solution for catapulting the TB3s.
The hard parts are the arresting hook mechanism in both the aircraft and the carrier.
I don't really think this is official or referring to an actual system. Haluk Bayraktar has shared it in a video call, and the design (LHD) itself is probably prepared to show concept.
The outer shell is made of a different kind of steel than the usual high yield steels, which makes it harder to add on modules on the sides since the steel is sensitive to heat treatment. The outer shell at that particular location should be peeled and the modules shall be added. Won't be hard too but it is just another batch of work which navy won't like.
In my opinion add RAM(Turkish one) and leave the TCG Anadolu as is.
Bargaining, add 2x RAM in addition to 2 x CIWS, add one Mar-D in addition to Smart-S (Or newer Cenk-S)
It supposed to have 2x40mm guns in the beginning, later they have opted for STOP.
There was one already since the beginning, 2nd Phalanx. There's a CIWS on superstructure as well
