As long as the African nations Algeria, Mauritania, South Africa and Nigeria recognize the Western Sahara Republic, that is all what matters.

Turkey is not an African nation and President Erdogan is entitled to his own opinion.
Turkey is becoming a strategic ally to Algeria, yet we can't push Turkey, a sovereign nation, to acknowledge the Western Sahara Republic for the time being.

Conversely, except for crazy Trump, no leader in the world has yet recognized that the Western Sahara is Moroccan.

That is the heart of the truth. Morocco is a foreign invader in the Western Sahara. The Sahrawis are the rightful owners of the land.
