If we did not have Baykar lol we would still talking about ANKA. How long did time untill it was finished? Tusas with Temel Kotil changed a lot, he comes from private company. Competition is needed in Turkish industry.
Competition is healthy I agree, but the government should also make sure that Baykar can survive. Competition is what killed a lot of American aerospace companies, or made them merge with others.

With all due respect, TAI simply got more important projects at hand. Let Baykar handle the A2A stealth drone.
Isn't that counter intuitive? I'd imagine a proper stealth air to air fighter would require more sophistication and TAI would have more experience on that subject, whereas Baykar would probably make a more cost effective multi purpose drone against weaker targets. So like a drone to fight against su27 and a drone to possibly spar with f35 would be different.

Competition is healthy, but is it necessary when kizilelma is doing the job? Baykar Mina would do well even if TAI introduced its own unmanned fighter jet with high export volumes around the world.

"While I was on the Çanakkale flight with HÜRKUŞ yesterday, GÖKBEY, ANKA and AKSUNGUR were test flying, MMU was starting the engine, HÜRJET was getting ready for the first taxi, and ANKA-III was being taken to engine tests!…"

"I would love to be able to explain what I feel, but right now, I am under the attack of very intense and strong emotions, like all TAI employees!"

"Like all TAI members, who have been working hard with determination, by not abandoning the ship, never giving up, seeing all difficulties as attractive, despite the unbelievers who have been saying that these planes cannot be built for years!"

"By the way, it took a while for ANKA-III, whose photo we shared, to come to your attention due to the difficulties in its production with its delta wing geometry, which does not have a vertical surface, but I want you to know that this appearance contains technological secrets that will give it an edge over all its competitors.
"Secret" for now..."

Baykar believes KE will be superior to F35 in the future. Maybe TAI can help Baykar with some expertise. We need to use TAIs ressources as efficiently as possible to make sure that Anka 3, Hurjet and TF-X becomes successes.

Kind of scary to think about the level of airpower Turkiye will be able to field in 10 years time. 20 years from now you may be looking at one the most advanced and powerful militaries on earth.

Giving the call code of the Anka-3 to B-13, for example, would be a very elegant reference to the past.

Nearly there 🚬

On a serious note, getting this drone flying will be an incredible feather on TAI's cap. There isn't even a handful of planes/drones like this right now, unless I'm forgetting some.

No, American X-47 was experimental, France Neuron the same. Some reason they abandoned the projects, why i don't now. Insteed of triangle drone they chose MQ-25.

This is not the real scale, I guess. This is a scale model developed mainly for testing purposes. The final 1:1 scale model has not yet been built. When I first announced this UCAV on this forum, I said it would be the size of a sports plane. Therefore, I think there is no point in making scale comparisons for now.
