The process starts on 16th of July 2014 and is taking place in the Official Gazette as Law for Eliminating Terrorism and Support for Social Unity. ( https://www.resmigazete.gov.tr/eskiler/2014/07/20140716-1.htm )

After the terrorist attack in Ceylanpinar, 2015 the end of this process started.

On 22nd of July, around 6:00 in the morning, two of our policemen named Feyyaz Yumusak and Okan Acar were martyred with bullets in their heads by a silenced weapon.

After this event PKK continued their attacks. We had 215 martyrs in 2015.

The Solution Process ended.

PKK used the opportunity of the Solution Process for their interests. They weaponized themselves, planted hundreds of IEDs, dug trenches in all of the districts and provinces under their control.

Green light was given to the Turkish Armed Forces and the General Directorate of Security for joint military operations in Sur, Cizre and Nusaybin.

And the operations commenced...

In December, 2015 the Turkish Armed Forces entered the neighbourhoods in which fighting was going on with 10.000 strong force, tanks and armored vehicles.

Police Special Operations, Air Forces Command, Underwater Defence SAS personnel also participated in support of the joint operations.

The terrorist organization was buried inside the trenches it dug...

739 security forces personnel were martyred
314 civilian citizens lost their lives
Over 4000 security personnel and over 2000 civilian citizens were wounded

We will never forget!

It was one hectic operation. Shows how Urban Warfare is a nightmare.

Within the scope of National Defence University Naval Petty Officer Vocational School Open Sea Training, a port visit was made to Durres / Albania with TCG İSKENDERUN and TCG OSMANGAZİ between 12-14 October 2023. After the port visit, seafaring training was carried out with the Albanian Naval Forces element PB LISSUS in front of Durres.

Turkish Air Force's #F16 fighter aircraft arrive in Azerbaijan to participate in "Mustafa Kemal Ataturk-2023" exercises

Training is being conducted with the aircraft of the Azerbaijani and Turkish #AirForces involved in the #MustafaKemalAtaturk2023 joint tactical exercises.

This part of little bit odd Azerbaijani soldiers doesn't have any thermal optics on rifle or NVG and conducting training in dark.

Not everybody in the unit is issued NVG or thermal. It greatly depends on unit's budget and mission. This is also true for the Turkish side as well. It depends on the unit member's duty too. While this is true for the most part this can change if situation requires.

Turkish Special Forces Command personnel were awarded honor medals because of their successful activities in Somalia in Operation Gothic Serrpent and their efforts after the Black Hawk down event. It is being said that they worked with the US Rangers and Delta Force in 1993 according to the source but there are no details present.
