What is that camo about, like 3 camo in one.
It is the usual three tones camo.
The Pattern is a little bit unusual though. You got a point there.
Maybe to distinct between two phases?

Maybe they are just testing how the camo looks on just one heli or someones bright idea of one pattern that suits all users.

T129 ATAK with electronic warfare pod delivered

In the statement made by the Ministry of National Defense, “Another T-129 ATAK helicopter with Phase-2 configuration has been included in the inventory of the Land Forces Command. Thus, the 58th ATAK helicopter of the TAF was included in the inventory.

Helicopter entering the inventory; It was delivered equipped with the National IFF Mod-5 Friend/Foe Recognition/Identification System and a 6-sensor Missile Warning System.” statements were included.

However, the 58th ATAK helicopter delivered to the Land Forces Command does not only have an IFF Mod-5 and 6-sensor missile warning system. It was seen that there was an electronic warfare (EH) pod in the weapon station on the inside right of the delivered helicopter.

Thanks to this EH Pod, the T129 ATAK Attack and Tactical Reconnaissance Helicopter can confuse enemy radars, communication equipment or radar-guided missiles aimed at it. Although it is not known by which company the pod was produced, it is estimated that it was developed by the Turkish defense industry.

GÖKBEY Helicopter delivery process to Gendarme continues

"The delivery of GÖKBEY Helicopter has been delayed a bit. We will deliver 3 GÖKBEY this year. We will integrate and fly the domestic engine developed by TEI."

What the f? TAI said the other day that delivery would happen soon. Why are their statements not coordinated?

If I remember correctly early November they said the first Gökbey would be delivered by the end of the year, why cant they just give us a realistic date , however far it is. With a production rate of 3 for the first year by the time the 100+ Gökbey is delivered to the Jandarma we are going to need a new platform . Not going to sugarcoat it but this is not what I was expecting from TAI, I hope we dont experience the same fate with the T925 and T929

The first 3 Gökbey are supposed to be delivered by the end of 2022. He is talking about this delay, not a further delay.

I don't think Gökbey has enough performance for firefighting but it can be used nevertheless. T-925 medium utility helicopter will be a better product to satisfy firefighting helicopter needs.

Isn't Gökbey's performance close to S-70? As far as I know, S-70 is used as a one pretty commonly.

No. T925 will be the equilevent of S70.(10t)

Gökbey is a 6t helicopter. It is between Huey and S70. It will take over the role of the Hueys. Navalized Gökbey will also be more akin to AW159 and not Seahawk. This is why T925 project is very important.

Oh, my bad then. Still, a domestic option until T925 would be good imo.
