There is a reason why that nose is like that unless they completely ditch that idea (which might happen) don't expect any changes.

There is an ongoing argument and engineering discussion inside the team about where to put the radar. If you put it on the rotor it comes with increased mechanical complexity and higher failure rate due to vibrations and rotor blades interact with radar beams which further complicates things. So depending on the location of the radar things will either stay the same, slightly change, or there will be sizeable changes.

My source is not Yusuf Akbaba. You should stop baseless claims.

All of us should be careful about what we write about platforms while making criticism. As it seems our engineers and other people who work in these projects see and read our comments.

That's why you posted it several hours after him like some other posts of yours?

And the chief engineer of the project has stated there will be changes including at the nose, and this prototype prioritizes flight over functionality. While you are telling otherwise?

Maybe once in awhile you should get your senses and stop throwing false information here and there blended with few things you read on twitter and acting like an insider.

Bullshit
Correlation is not causation. Everybody is sharing news around the clock because it is the historical time of Turkish aerospace.
I wrote what I know and with reasons. This is not a place to satisfy your personal ego or imaginary beef with me. Grow up, stop personal accusations I can really turn on the heat if I want. Mods should step in before I switch to a mode he understands. This is not a place of personal attacks accusations and baseless claims.

This monster is capable to carry

24 umtas gm (30 km expected range)
Or 16 kuzgun ky (40 km range)
Or 12 kuzgun tj (180 km range)
Or 4 çakır (150 + km range) and 4 kuzgun tj
How many Air-to-air missiles could carry?
Or is there any chance some of navy's ATAK 2 to carry Bozdağans/Levents?

People share the news without telling 'according to information i received'
'according to my resources'. Your almost every post includes a statement as if you have received that information through private channels while obviously it relies on public channels.

Feel free to report my posts, you are lucky that i don't have much time to correct your bullshit recently but it is my duty to let audience now the informations you provide are usually not accurate and should be taken with pinch of salt.

PS. Good to see you have learnt to use the reply button after all those years. Now it is turn for the report button.

Cherry on top.

Sorry he wasn't the chief engineer of Atak-2 but director of helicopter programs. I will treat him with a tea later to make up for the mistake i made with the position - title.
I would ask : there will be naval version of ATAK 2 . I have got my answer.

Still wondering if naval variant has nose Radom with MURAD radar.😎

Turkish licenced Ukranian engines?

As far as we know there is no signed contract for TS3000 yet and no work have been started yet. Does TS1400 cut the development time for TS3000 that much?
This was exactly my thoughts process when I read the news
That is why I shared it in the forum hoping for some1 to elaborate on the issue

Aside of all the discussion regarding the nose and the Atak-2 shape , is there any latest news regarding Meteksan Mildar Radar ?

It seems a lot of place in the engine compartment in the T929, probably a measure to have alternative engines if it arises any problem with ensuring the Ukranian engines.

I don't know.İsmail Demir and Temel Kotil always make very optimistic statements.Mahmut Akşit is not like that.He makes more grounded statements. It would be better to take him more seriously.

I would like to thank the chief officers of Mmu and Atak 2. They gave very good detailed and technical explanations. They gave good answers to the question marks in our minds. From now on, I won't listen to Temel Kotil :p

Btw, the AH-64 Apache is a ugly helicopter. Even this version of our Atak 2 is better than it. :D :sneaky:
