If we count the J-20 and its WS-15 working as designed, they might already be above the Europeans.

Well overall (I put general aviation and space too, not just military aviation) Russia still beat the rest other than the big 3 (U.S, China and Europe). And Europe here are listed collectively.

Russia builds its own engine both civilian and military, it builds its own rocket motors, airliners and launch vehicles etc. So they're still a big player, but a player that has clearly been eclipsed by the likes of China and no longer a serious competitor for the US.

Even GCAP and FCAS are not going to be on par with NGAD,F/A-XX.US maintains an edge over everyone else in aviation tech and it's not going to change anytime soon.

No way this "6th" gen is gonna outperform western programs.Maybe an F22 equivalent at best.

It definitely going to outperform current us fifth gen and future european sixth gen platforms.
Maybe not the NGAD but it would be very close.

No it won't.All western 6th gen are going to outperform this.

They should try to make a proper 5th gen first.

AVIC may have given the signs of the 6th generation fighter with the video it released today.

To be honest, this looks like a further development of the J-20 instead of an entirely new program.

Notice the similarities in the front half of the jet.

There's only 3 VLO fighter aircraft in service and there's not a single European origin in it.

But some people still think european technology is just unconditionally superior.
As i said before. If this design is realized it will definitely outperform tempset and FCAS.
