Might depend on the scale of the conflict. Any idea how many troops and equipment have been deployed on both sides?
should've been at least a whole Army Division, the way I see it. you've got tons of videos of columns of tanks, trucks, IFV, artillery etc.

I'm not even sure if Turkey needs to deploy them. If shit really starts to hit the fan, it's possible that Armenia's air force gets decimated while parked. They have nowhere to hide from Turkey's guided missiles.

Edit: though yes, this likely won't happen as the international community will go mad, so air war it is!
don't Armenia airfield equipped with HAS???

Guys, there's one thing to keep in mind.
Armenia isn't doing this alone.
Someone with greater plans decided to activate it.
It would be a mistake to focus on Armenia alone.
A lot of other countries near and far benefit from Turkey losing its focus on the East Mediterranean.
This is an old conflict. Not new. And it's just been re-instigated.
Timing of all of this is very suspicious.

I'm not sure we can send F-16s into Armenia whlle the Russian base in Gyumri is active with its Mig-29s and S-300 batteries.

I don't understand why Armenia's Su-30s are overestimated, they only have about 4 of them as far as I know. It won't have a meaningful impact on such a constricted space AND they won't have an impact on the conflict with such low numbers... In short, Azerbaijan doesn't need TurAF's support...

To be fair. I do not think Armenia started the shooting this morning.

The militaristic and diplomatic response from Azerbaijan and Turkey was way too quick and organized. This didn't happen on Armenia's terms.
Quick? We talk about dacades old conflict.

Wow, what are they thinking? I was expecting them to have some form of HAS. A small country should have tunnels that go under hills or something of that nature to store combat aircraft in.

We dont have to send the F16''s , We send some AMRAAM's across the border :D
Yeah, but my point was that if we get actively involved, my guess is that the Russians will too.
While I think we should fully support Azerbaijan logistically, economically, diplomatically, etc, I don't think TSK should directly fire on Armenian forces at this point.
We are actively involved over a wide geography stretching from Libya to Iraq. East Med is brewing. US-supported PKK keeps getting stronger in Iraq/Syria and therefore we should think twice before committing a lot of forces to yet another front where we can possibly be facing not just Armenian, but also Russian adversaries.
I know that as Turks we are emotional folks but sometimes knee-jerk reactions aren't the smartest.

There are no SU30SM ın Armenian Armed Forces right now. They are planned to buy it. I figured if there is SU30SM in Armenia then Russians must use it.. Therefore if Russia is involved we shoudnt leave Azerbaijan alone. That was my thinking about that reply.

They call this an airport? I'd call this a quickly made frontline airfield...

P.S. Even the Syrian Regime would fight better than both Arm. and Aze. since they have been fighting a civil war for almost 9 years now...
