If indeed Azeri troops will enter Şuşa we might witness the second biggest battle of this war.... (Just before Stepanakert/Xankəndi)

The city is a symbol, the cultural center for the Azeris. When the Armenians captured the town it was considered as a trauma for the entire Azerbaijan population and a strong spirit of revenge was born since.

Imagine the outcry if Turks did that to a Armenian restaurant.
I dont understand why everybody is loosing their shit towards Turkey in this conflict anyways, Turkey only provides support to Azerbaijan but somehow became the bad guy once again.
It is not rooted in this conflict. The past is heavy especially when you fail to colonize a proud nation and get your ass kicked left and right. The people in the West can not understand that Turkey is a partner, developing regional force and not a slave to the western countries and their policies in any way. The ordinary people especially in the US don't even know what is happening but the continuous "green peace" and "humanist" narrative propaganda against Turkey that is continuing for decades combined with populism are getting us here.

It is a very old story. The politicians on the time when Mustafa Kemal Ataturk founded the Republic of Turkey probably thought that after the reconciliation Turkey will be dancing on their music. They probably thought the same when Turkey joined the conflict in Korea and later NATO but all that is because Turkey have its interests in these moves. Trump asked a question to a Turkish journalist "Are you a friend or foe?". I say that Turkey is a partner and in partnership there can be mutual interests and on some matters there will be disagreements. If Turkey is voicing disagreements on existential matters to the country it can still be partner but in their vision of "partnership" everything should be smooth and everybody should listen to the "big" guys without protesting. Turkey should become a US base and let every positive AND destructive policy to the region to be planned, initiated, launched from its territory without questions. That in my notebook is not called a partner but a prostitute and until Turkey becomes a prostitute they will never reach peace. Turkey will always be the bad guy when they fail in matters that are not in Turkey's interests and Turkey intervened.

We have gone a little bit off topic so let's continue.

Btw, over 2.5k new corona cases in Armenia in the last 24h (around 100k total), quite a big number for a small country like Armenia. Even more concerning when assuming that Armenia isnt able to do widespread tests.
Time is playing into Azerbaijans hands if we assume that new US goverment wont get involved actively in the future.

New infections spiked since the start of the conflict:
