As pointed out repeatedly to these idiots, it was the opposite. When USSR occupied the Caucasus, Azerbaijan controlled Karabakh and the debate in Soviet government wasn't "giving it to Azerbaijan" but ripping it away from Azerbaijan and giving it to Armenia. Thankfully people in charge of such things back then were considerably less retarded than our Polish friend here and the idea was rejected hence the official documents recording that Nagorno-Karabakh was to be LEFT in Azerbaijan. And even before that during Russian Imperial times, Karabakh was part of the Baku Governorate.
I wish these a-holes would show even a smidgen as much concern for the Azerbaijanis exterminated or forced to flee from Zengezur thanks to that Nazi bastard Garegin Nzhdeh and his army of bloodthirsty maniacs, my great-great-grandparents among them. I guess according to our Austrian friend, we are completely justified in taking Zengezur/Syunik from Armenia now.
