I'm actually glad that Iran has shown its true colours regarding Azerbaijan and Armenia.

The more they attack Azerbaijan and side with Armenia/Russia against her, the more it wakes up the common Azeri Turk in Iran to realise that he must control his own home and not outsource it to the fanatical persian mullah regime.

But Turkey has to move away from not interfering in domestic issues of Iran, that boat has long sailed with their support for PKK/Islamist terrorists against Turkey. Nothing left to do but push for the uprising of the Turkic peoples in the north and support the arabs of the south to independence.

But in typical persian style they scream Zionism but then attack Muslims. Iran is the best enemy Isreal can have in the region, Iran has done more to destabilise Muslim states and kill Muslims then the Isreali state has ever done.

Iran is interfering in several countries' affairs in the region. It uses Shiite fanaticism to control the simple-minded.

Iraq, Yemen, Lebanon, Syria are meddled with with the concession of their governments or part of their government.

It also tries to control the Shiite population in Pakistan, Afghanistan, UAE, Bahrain, Kuwait and Saudi Arabia. Their effect is variable in these countries.

African Arab countries have very little to no Shiite population.

Their effect on Türkiye and Azerbaijan is next to none despite the Shiite majority in Azerbaijan and the related Alevi population in Türkiye.
That doesn't mean that they don't try.

Yep. They blocked us for around 2 days IIRC which gave Armenians time to regroup and meant we suffered losses that we wouldn't have otherwise if we managed to keep pressing our advantage. Can't confirm for sure but apparently they backed off once Turkey threatened to get involved.

It really is amazing how Iran keeps justifying their a-hole treatment of us by blabbing on about Israel when we actually had more or less decent relations in the 90s that they proceeded to s**t on by trying to indoctrinate our youth into a second Hezbollah and seize political control of the nation. Oh yeah and the dozens of Azerbaijanis killed over the decades trying to stop their drug smuggling operations which Iran pretends don't exist despite us complaining about them for 20+ years.

(And for any Iranians lurking no, Elcibey doesn't count. We repaired our relations with Iran after he got thrown out of power, Azerbaijan having shitty relations with Iran now is on you.)

I know Sunnis and Shias have their disagreements and have had war numerous occasions.

I think Iran and Saudi Arabia hate such a thought like this when both Azerbaijani Sunnis and Azerbaijani Shias put aside their differences to put their nation first.
