The last breaths of a dying snake bro... pure desperation. They know that they are losing and they do stupid things like this hoping for a counter strike on Armenia so they can “legitimately” ask for Russian military help. Azerbaijan needs to be patient and coldblooded and just continue to kick the enemy out of Karabakh.

Time works against Armenians in the long run. Even if Russia/France/USA impose a ceasefire now it is just a delaying of the inevitable.

I'm guessing the Security Council permanent members (especially France and Russia) who couldn't be bothered to veto this UN resolution back in 2008 didn't think Azerbaijan/Turkey would ever become powerful enough to actually throw the Armenians out militarily. It's one of those chess pieces Azerbaijan would not want to lose so easily... Better for them to provide coverage to the capital, airports and other strategic assets.. Unfortunately, it opens up these population centres to barbaric attacks..
