For starters, it has a Chinese radar. I would very much like our AAMs to be as far as possible from any Chinese radars. We know however that Roketsan and GIDS are working together on new AAMs. Those could be deployed on Azerbaijani JF-17s as well.

If iirc, there was an option of Vixen-1000 for JF-17C from Leonardo. Though Azerbaijan probably has to pay for integration cost.

First JF-17C Block 3’s for Azerbaijan are already in production, so the radar will be what is already integrated on Block 3.

As for Turkish air-to-air missiles, what would be the point exactly? SD-10A + PL-10E is already a serious combo.

BTW, JF-17C Block 3 cockpit seems very similar to J-10C (second pic).

That is the older specs. It now has improved SAR resolution of 0.5m.

For air-cooled radar of that size, 170km detection range against 5m2 RCS target is decent imo.
