This guy was detained for his post about Kashmir.

BAL and India damaged Bangladesh so much that I wonder if we will ever recover from this. The system was already corrupted and BAL made it worse by giving India easy access in places where no country is supposed to enter. Politics, banking, telecommunication, data centers, military, intelligence, law enforcements everything is compromised. If Pakistan did this to India it would've cried for war by now but the influence here is so deep that even interim govt couldn't do anything. Bangladesh is basically a lost cause since Brits took control.

Looks like Indian propaganda machines didn't do so well during their election coverage in Bangladesh.

Quite hard when your system has full of corrupt people inside. Like I said the interim couldn’t do anything and these people didn’t let them either. The new one won't do anything either.
Thats sad man,all for nothing.
So many people died,no lesson learned.

Obviously it has changed significantly.
The excessive foreign intrusion from a certain neighbour in our state apparatus is not the primary problem anymore. That has gone down significantly with BAL's departure.

It is our corrupt politicians and beurocracy that would hold the country backward for their own gains and trying their best to keep the old system alive to benefit them and not implement the much needed reforms that were envisioned after July revolution.

Only thing positive is that, today good people has stronger voice, organisation, as well as representation in the parliament than what we had before overthrowing Hassina. So that's not nothing.

So,same political system same parties same bureaucracy but the people have a voice now?
Game changing representation or just a couple of votes?

One heck of a consolation prize. 👍

Different parties. It is a significant representation. There are good people and student leaders that were elected to the parliament.

Bangladesh has suspended budget carrier SpiceJet from operating through its airspace due to outstanding payments, according to a report by The Times of India. As a result, certain flights departing from Kolkata—particularly services to Guwahati and Imphal—have been forced to take extended routes that bypass Bangladeshi territory.

A spokesperson for the airline told PTI yesterday (19 February) that the company remains in regular contact with the relevant authorities regarding operational and procedural matters, including navigation charges. The spokesperson described the issue as part of routine industry processes and expressed optimism about reaching a resolution soon. The airline also maintained that its overall flight schedule continues as planned and in compliance with regulatory norms.

Sources familiar with the matter said the restriction stems from non-payment of dues, though the specific details of the outstanding amount were not immediately available.

Flight tracking data from Flightradar24 yesterday showed that SpiceJet services between Kolkata and northeastern destinations were rerouted to avoid Bangladeshi airspace, leading to longer travel paths.

In the financial markets, SpiceJet shares were trading about 1% lower at Rs 16.81 on the BSE during afternoon hours. The development follows the airline's recent disclosure of a Rs269.27 crore loss for the quarter ending December 2025, attributed to increased costs and one-time expenditures.

selling the country ?

Can't really sell something that’s already sold. Just the slave changed. BAL broke BNP's spine. When Hasina was still in power BNP sent one of it’s Hindu leader to make a deal. There was interview with an Indian newspaper though Mirza Fakhrul denied any BNP's involvement.

Bro, why being unnecessary pessimistic?

Let's wait and see at least a year. And judge then.
