Looks like this is the second (1st dedicated) jetty which is almost complete. Judging by the video, at least four sub can berth here. We'll have to wait for satellite imagery to get the real measurement.

While we're too focused on CDDL's second dock and KSY's second site, DEW is building new shed in it's open area. New 40 and 80 tons electric wire rope hoist is being installed in the new shed in DEW. BN needs to modernize the old shed too. (left side) Heard BNS Mongla also started work on new dry dock.

Is KSY expanding it's facility?

So looks like KSY is focusing on the existing shipyard instead of the Borguna site. It's built a new yard and launching platform in the southern part. The yard will have portable rail or balloon launching system. It will be able to launch commercial ship with a length of 125 meters, a draft of 5 meters and a displacement of 3000 tons.

Looks like Poly Technologies Inc (PTI) started building infrastructures at BNS Sheikh Hasina.

Bangladesh Navy will procure hovercraft and working on to procure logistic ship and ocean going tug under DCL method. Center for naval research and development (CNRD) is completing a project for activating various control systems of different navy ships with it's own technical expertise. CNRD also completed building surveillance drone for BNS Sheikh Hasina and Bhatiary.

BNS Ulka is getting a mine servicing center and SAM testing hall. BNS Sher-E-Bangla is also supposed to get a mine servicing center. So it's a bit unclear if this is an additional mine servicing center or not. Also it looks like CDDL is slowly getting modernized/upgrade with new infrastructure and equipment such as new overhead crane. Dry Dock project at BNS Mongla is also in progress.

That's a really old photo. Probably from "Unnoyon Mela-2019" (Development Fair). Just because there's a replica of Type-39A doesn't really mean anything. Yes, Type-39A has the best chance to be selected but with current geo-political scenario and change in weapon procurement system BN could buy sub from Korea/Turkey.

BNS Tista and BNS Karnafuli were officially decommissioned from the Bangladesh Navy’s fleet on Wednesday after 47 years of successful operational activities at sea.

Commander of Flotilla West Rear Admiral Shaheen Rahman, on the Khulna naval jetty, decommissioned the vessel on Wednesday in accordance with traditional naval customs.

High officials and sailors of the Khulna naval area were present on the occasion.

It may be mentioned that BNS Tista and BNS Karnafuli were added to the fleet through commissioning in Bangladesh Navy on June 06 in 1975.

If navy is planning to modernize the existing ships with new missiles and guns then BNS BB, Type-53H3, Durjoy class and Padma class Batch I are probably going to be modernized with new AShM, FL-3000N and a 30mm RWS. There were some old pics of Padma class in KSY without armaments. Don't know if BNS BB's modernization is complete or not.

In my opinion BNS BB should already taking MLU program as they are already 20 years old, for any major navies 20 years old warships should already taking major refit program including replacement or upgrade CMS, refit of major hull structure, block engine, replacement for sensor system and so on
