If new yard's width is 48 meters, do you think it's possible to build two ships here with 15 meters beam? @Anmdt

Is it the total area assigned for slipway - drydock or whole shipyard? It depends on the shipyard plan, flow of the block construction and the space they may maneuver the blocks. They will also need some space after launching the ships for equipping at the harbor-pier

That is the extended part of Khulna shipyard where BN is planning to build 125 meter long ship with 3000 tons displacement and 5 meters draft. (left side) Looks like the whole part will be used for ship's construction but image suggest KSY is focused in the middle part. It will have balloon or rail launching system like the photo shows.

KSY is getting more upgrades. This will certainly be helpful to launch larger ship like LPC, MCMV. Existing slipway can dock and undock vessels up to light weight 700 tonnes. Also it looks like KSY has another site in Mongla area with 42.80 acres of land. So total three sites in Khulna, Borguna and Mongla.

That's utility helicopter. I think navy's report about AW-159 was a mistake.

Getting more AW109 or AW139 from Leonardo is kind of public information now, but DTB is claiming AW-159, probably from Britain. Otherwise, why would they post this? Not to mention, Isn't getting lethal weapons most of the time kept secret? historically speaking.

Here's the original source which says BN received AW-159 but it's not true. There was no photo, report, announcement by PM, press release by Leonardo or ISPR. So it's most probably a mistake.

Leonardo Helicopters' UK business is confident of securing additional international orders for its AW159 multirole helicopter over the next year, having recently restarted production of the 6 tonne type for an undisclosed export customer.

Speaking on 22 August at an event to anoint the company's Yeovil, Somerset, site as ‘the home of British helicopters', Adam Clarke, managing director of Leonardo Helicopters UK, said the company had seen an upswing in market interest and was pursuing “two or three significant campaigns”.

Adam Clarke, managing director Leonardo Helicopters UK, says additional “opportunities are in negotiation”.

If these are successfully concluded, the volumes under discussion would lead to a “double-digit backlog” for the Wildcat, said Clarke, speaking at an event in Yeovil on 22 August.

Clive Higgins, chief executive of Leonardo UK, adds: “We are having active conversations with a number of potential users. Over the next six to 12 months we’d like to start seeing some of that coming through.”

So, what's all these mean? I still remember there was a delegation team which visited aw159 exclusively in Britain before the pandemic

@Anmdt what are those rubbers used for?
They are placed around the hull to minimize damage from the pier structures. Although not all ships have these, only the ones which commonly visits a pier, dock. Plastic absorbs the energy.
