Hilarious statement seeing how "egypt" sold a major part of its EEZ to the EU by signing a one sided agreement in turn for money in sissys and his goons pockets.

People should understand this, Egypt will never sigh EEZ agreement with us. They made a deal with Cyprus. They made a deal that they can search explore and drill for oil/gas. With ther own ships, remember back in the days we did send our warships against ther after we kicked ther search vessels.

Greece and Cyprus are selling ther resources to foreigners to cut us out. Egypt is one of them, i do not see them signing Mecca pact to.

Egypt is unpredictable in some ways. Today, they are there. Tomorrow, they are by our side. That’s Egypt!

Bots are working overtime on social media. This is how you know the decisions made were the correct ones. Hopefully they serve to wake the common Turk up to how the EU is a net negative for the Turkish people and their rights and freedoms.

Very interesting statements from Turkish FM Hakan Fidan regarding President RTE’s offer to Greek Prime-minister regarding Cyprus’s power needs.

Fidan said that Erdoğan stated: "Instead of spending more than 2 billion euros from European funds to bring electricity from 2,000 kilometers away, I would prefer that you buy electricity from us. From the Turkish mainland, just 70 miles away, we can supply you with water, electricity, and natural gas."

For that to happen, “pigs will have fly“ first, as they say in the UK. But you never know. Stranger things have happened.

Any Greek leader who agrees to this deal would be overthrown the next day.

From an economic perspective it sort of makes sense but from a security perspective there's no way in hell that Greece would ever allow Turkey to wield such a massive degree of leverage over their vital infrastructure.

Read this article pls!
It actually tells you in between the lines that most bureaucrats in Egypt were really happy with the Libya/Turkiye agreement as it gave Egypt a much larger EEZ. But Egypt, as it doesn’t want to antagonise Turkiye(Turkiye has become their 4th largest export point, with extensive Turkish defence investments in Egypt too), has been blaming Libya and sending a message to Greece to negotiate over the EEZ.
Bottom line looks like Egypt wants to use Greece as a bargaining point against us and Libya to get more concessions and a bigger portion of EEZ.
Further to above :
It seems that Egypt is looking for the use of a further area of the sea than the Greek agreement. What Greeks have offered is to cause problems for Egypt as it will mean encroaching in to Turkish EEZ and souring relations with Turkiye.

If what Turkiye is offering is acceptable to Egypt and the deal is signed, that puts the final nail in the Greek EEZ coffin.

Türkiye offers Egypt maritime deal

Turning to developments in the Eastern Mediterranean, Güler said Türkiye was prepared to negotiate a maritime boundary delimitation agreement with Egypt, highlighting the potential benefits for Cairo.

Following Ankara's maritime jurisdiction agreement with Libya, the minister said Türkiye remained open to similar cooperation with Egypt.

"Our proposal to Egypt is clear," Güler said, explaining that Cairo could secure approximately 15,000 square kilometers (5,800 square miles) of additional maritime jurisdiction by reaching an agreement with Türkiye rather than pursuing a potential arrangement with Greece.

"We are ready to sign an agreement with Egypt on the delimitation of maritime jurisdiction areas," he said.

The proposal reflects Ankara's efforts to strengthen regional cooperation in the Eastern Mediterranean, where competing maritime claims and energy interests have long fueled diplomatic tensions.

EDIT

In addition to this according to a leading Greek newspaper, Türkiye’s FM, Hakan Fidan has offered to Italy, to sit round a table and discuss with Egypt the Libya/Turkish EEZ agreement

Lol, trying to sell some EEZ to try to get Egypt to accept.

The blatant proposal of sale of EEZ in that map clearly shows there is no basis for the EEZ claim that Greece is putting Dorthe, and the more they compromise to sell the worse they stand.

In my view, Ankara will be able to reach an agreement with Cairo regarding maritime zones—even without factoring in the 15,000 square kilometers it is currently dangling before Cairo as a sort of "carrot" 🙂.
When Ankara first concluded an agreement with Tripoli, eastern Libya categorically refused to join it and instead sided with the opposition. Yet, six years later, we see a completely different picture: the Libyan parliament has voted in favor.
One might wonder—why?!
Perhaps the question should be framed a bit differently: why now?
Because over the last few years, events have unfolded—and continue to unfold—in the Middle East that could have a significant impact on global geopolitics. The most important of these is the "Mecca Agreement"—a pact of colossal significance.
It was revealed yesterday that the foreign ministers of this "trio" [of Muslim states] are set to meet in Ankara with their counterparts from a "trio" of European nations. This upcoming meeting in itself signifies that leading European powers have recognized the "Mecca Agreement"—an agreement whose importance can hardly be overstated! And, in any case, how could these three European countries possibly oppose it, given that the United States itself has already recognized it?
With whom did Cairo conclude an agreement on the delimitation of maritime spaces? With Athens. Well, after all, it’s only Athens, isn't it? 🫢 Based on my observations, in the coming years, Cairo will be compelled—under one pretext or another—to act as if that agreement never existed at all. If three major European powers have deemed it necessary to reckon with this "trio" of Muslim nations, then it would be wise for the "Pharaoh" [the Egyptian leadership]—as if by the command of Allah himself—to descend from the summits of those very famous pyramids.
A "grand trio" of Muslim nations is gathering in Ankara alongside a "grand trio" of European states! It is highly unlikely that anyone seriously believes the Europeans sought Athens' opinion regarding this meeting. I suspect that when Athens asked to take part in this significant encounter, they were told they were still too small—and that it is far too early for them to be playing in the same league as the "big boys." 😉

(Clarification: Egypt joined the trio of countries mentioned in the Mecca Agreement during yesterday’s meeting in Istanbul... Meanwhile, Italy also joined the group of three European states at the very last minute.)

if egypt were really against the libya agreement with Turkiye, would they really join us in this a day or two later?
From the very beginning, Egypt opposed the agreement between Turkey and the government in Tripoli regarding the delimitation of maritime zones—and, in fact, any arrangements between them whatsoever. Every development in the relationship between Turkey and Tripoli was a source of irritation for Cairo. In June 2020, when forces from Tripoli, backed by Turkey, pushed Haftar’s battered Libyan National Army (LNA) all the way to Sirte—appearing poised to continue their offensive toward Benghazi—General el-Sisi’s patience ran out. At that moment, observers even wondered: "Could a war break out between Egypt and Turkey in Libya?" Egyptian tanks were massed along the Libyan border, ready to cross in support of Haftar’s forces. Ankara, however, prudently decided to halt the advance on Sirte.
It was against this backdrop that el-Sisi decided to conclude a maritime zone agreement with Greece—a move clearly intended to spite Ankara.
Years later, Erdoğan and el-Sisi met, and the relationship—which had soured due to Ankara’s support for Morsi—began to improve rapidly...
Egypt’s participation in the meeting with the "European quartet" in Istanbul suggests that Cairo’s position now aligns with that of the signatories to the Mecca Agreement.

Although the talks in Istanbul are not directly linked to the aforementioned maritime zone agreements, I am inclined to believe that el-Sisi is now prepared—figuratively speaking—to turn a blind eye to the actions of Ankara and Libya, effectively leaving Athens empty-handed.

I think it is too soon to have that conclusion. It's a good sign, but we should still be cautious of who might try sink any positive development.

Iran-US war that has that region stuck, might be a blessing in disguise otherwise you know who'd have taken action.
