On 10 December 2020, Boeing handed over the last CH-47F Chinook MYII CAAS (Common Avionics Architecture System) transport helicopters to the Koninklijke Luchtmacht (KLu, Royal Netherlands Air Force) at their facility in Huntsville (AL) for validation, verification and to perform Post Production modifications before delivery.
Four Chinooks have now been transferred to 302 Squadron at Fort Hood-Killeen/Hood AAF (TX). We think the remaining 10 CH-47Fs are still at Huntsville (AL), but we would like to see confirmation.
Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the shipment of the Chinooks to the Netherlands is delayed for an unknown period.
