I've mentioned this before but I don't think any of these designs should be called "flying cars" unless they actually operate as a car that can also fly.

Just call them "multicopter for personal transport" or something.

This is the very well known Joby Aviation Company's prototype. Joby is the leading electric air taxy developer and operator. They have partnered with the US Army in the Agility Prime program where they received a peanuts $8mn grant. Joby has a stock market value of more than $6bn.
