China China tests new uncrewed naval ship, 200 tons, 20 knots

China's first uncrewed naval vessel completed its first trial in the sea area of Zhoushan on June 7. The vessel has a displacement of about 200 tonnes and a maximum speed of more than 20 knots. It is capable of working under a level-5 sea state and sailing safely under a level-6 sea state. The uncrewed vessel project started in 2015 with the goal of developing a less noisy, highly intelligent and autonomous vessel.

China just launched the world biggest unmanned robotic drone carrier a couple of days ago, it seems with the massive ship building capability, China will swarm the oceans with unmanned ships, subs, underwater drones in the coming years.
