Hong Kong is a metropolitan area and special administrative region of China on the eastern Pearl River Delta in South China. With over 7.5 million residents of various nationalities in a 1,104-square-kilometre territory, Hong Kong is one of the most densely populated places in the world. Originally a sparsely populated area of farming and fishing villages, the territory has become one of the world's most significant financial centres and commercial ports.It is the world's tenth-largest exporter and ninth-largest importer. Hong Kong has a major capitalist service economy characterised by low taxation and free trade, and its currency, the Hong Kong dollar, is the eighth most traded currency in the world. Hong Kong is home to the third-highest number of billionaires of any city in the world,[26] the second-highest number of billionaires of any city in Asia, and the largest concentration of ultra high-net-worth individuals of any city in the world.

Shenzhen is the major High Tech Hub for China ( and Asia ). Many Chinese high tech companies are located here like Tencent, DJI, Vank, Ping An Group, Huawei, One +, BYD and ZTE wich are all Multi Billion dollar companies ! Shenzhen has experienced extraordinary growth since the 80's, it went from a poor fishing village to a World Class city with more than 20 Million people and a GDP of more than $1000 Billion. Today, Shenzhen experiences a European standard of living and the Wealth per capita will grow even larger in the coming years. Shenzhen has got one of the most extensive skylines in the world with more than 150 skyscrapers.

Shenzhen took the advantage of Hong kong's chaos and surpassed Hong kong in GDP two years ago, now Shenzhen is definitely a better city.
