Foreign Minister Lars Løkke Rasmussen (M) says during an interview in the TV 2 magazine 'Lippert' that he looks "with great seriousness" at the matter of the severed submarine cables in the Baltic Sea.
"We are following this situation very closely. We have seen two data breaches, and we look at that very seriously and are in close contact with the respective countries, and I can't say much more than that,' says the foreign minister.
Roughly the same message came from Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Defense Troels Lund Poulsen (V) during a short doorstep earlier in the evening (read more in the post from 16.33 ).
What won't they say? Neither Lars Løkke Rasmussen nor Troels Lund Poulsen want to disclose whether Denmark has caused the mysterious Chinese cargo ship to stop in the Kattegat, nor whether they have been in contact with China.
