US military has a qualified personnel shortage. It's much more complex issue. For example, nation-states have much more nationalist culture than US, obviously. US can't really retain personnel with nationalism as much as other countries. There is lack of purpose, no serious threat.

US military putting out 'woke' ads for attracting/taking advantage of minorities. It's not really progressive when you are trying to emasculated the military to get access to wider pool of recruits.
