In November 2022, the Turkish defense and aerospace industry exported $503.2 million, an increase of 31.6% compared to the same month of the previous year. Thus, the sector realized the highest monthly exports in its history and crossed the $ 500 million threshold in monthly exports for the first time.

If the annual average trend of 30-35% is maintained, the Turkish defense industry will have the target of reaching the $6 billion mark by 2023.

The sector's exports in 2021 were realized as 3.2 billion dollars. The great breakthrough in the Turkish defense industry has resulted in the sector doubling roughly every 3 years.

About 3.8 billion dollars. It will close the year above 4 billion.

The most important issue here is that the sector's turnover has entered a trend of doubling every 3 years on average. In other words, defense and aerospace industry is the fastest growing sector in the country both in terms of the number of companies and employees as well as the size of R&D and project diversity.

So, when we say imagine 10 years ahead, we are not talking about a linear growth trend, we are talking about an exponential, almost logarithmic trend. If the Turkish aerospace and defence industry can maintain the trend of the last four-five years, and if you analyze this together with the current project schedules, by the 2030s we will be talking about a country-industry that exports over $15-20 billion and is a global leader in many of its sub-industries.

I think 2023 may be way higher than 6bn USD.

Let's break down the numbers. In 2022, we will probably be around 4.2bn in exports. Out of the 4.2bn USD roughly 1bn USD is from Baykar and the rest is from others.

In 2023, Baykar is expecting to export around 5bn USD alone. If we assume the rest grow their business by 25% (largely helped by Baykar's massive growth) then Turkiye will land at around 9BN USD of exports in 2023! This is not far from AKP stated goal of 10bn which we ridiculed some time ago

I think problem with munition integration would be the case for a sale to rather developed countries like england, italy.
For the current line of the drone customers, they would not have a chance to choose and they would not even bother asking an application of western munition that is not cost effective at all.

The munitions used by TB2 currently are pretty cutting edge as it is, I don't believe any developed country could develop a munition that is as cost effective and have triage of effects, be it Anti-Tank, Anti-Personnel, Thermobaric. Not only that, flight/launch envelope has been dialled in so finely it would take years to even get close to how pin-point domestic munitions are.

On the subject of sensors (E/O), I can certainly see Italy and UK using their own.
