What's this... Too many good news around Türkiye lately and I think it's connected to the pending operation against SDF. They're trying to offer bribe and threats simultaneously from all fronts. That's how I see it.

Per Sünnetçi, for Portugal's AOR tender for two ships, STM and Damen were the two finalists where STM's bid was chosen. Great success against a very important competitor.

And a nicer side view of Dearsan's FAC design for Qatari Navy with Çakır launchers. Furthermore:
"Within the scope of the project, it is planned to build a total of five of the DEARSAN-designed 50 m Guided Missile Fast Patrol Boats, which have been named Halul-11 by the Qatar Navy, and it is expected to receive a request from the Qatar Navy Command and the Qatar Armed Forces Procurement and Logistics Directorate in the near future for an additional contract for the construction of the other three ships, which are expected to be in different configurations. The first of the ships is expected to enter service in 2027 and the second in 2028."

Looking at it, i once noticed again, Turks love making sturdy mast structures.
Nobody will notice its importance until a time which an explosive goes kaboom a meter away from the mast.

Several hundred KIZILELMAs? Are they prepping for Armageddon?
If KE is to be used with Kaan as a wingman, that would be about the right number to order. And as far as I can remember, every country toying with the idea is thinking about using 2 or 3 drones with their planes at least.

For that to be the case there should be a two seat version of the KAAN, which is not even developed yet. I think there will come a point where drones will be an extention of the fighter jet, and will so intergrated into the system that it can be operated by a single pilot but that would be venturing into 6th gen territory. It will happen eventually, but that still many years away.

Saudis love announcing these grandiose numbers, but never actually happening,

100 Kaans and several hundred Kizilelmas is like a 40 billion dollar contract, Trump will most likely happily sell them F-35s

What? Why would there be a two seat version Kaan? None of the countries are planning on two seater versions of their stealth jets. In fact, fitting everything necessary to control a drone would be a challenge in itself. Take a look at the videos from Baykar of people controlling drones.

Wingman concept is a concept for future anyway when these drones can gain more autonomy, and by that I don't mean doing everything by themselves but instead they can be commanded of controlled. Until then, KE can be controlled from the ground to operate alongside Kaan. It has BLOS communication for a reason.

Thats not true, Chinese J-20S is a 2 seater version of J-20 designed specifically to operate with loyal wingmen.
