That's one thing our products are simply not on par with other offerings. No Turkish turret bigger than the 20mm sharpshooter have been exported so far.
What is it our turrets are lacking, is it the metallurgy and quality. Or are our systems not up to the standard ?

What about Venom that we got from UK?

1.1 billion dollars worth of contract for ad systems. Most likely for a Gulf state (Saudi/Katar)
Looks like even with increased budget our orders will barely make half of Aselsan's AD production. It is good in one hand on the other hand we need a lot of AD and very fast

I also wonder how the seperation between systems(Aselsan) and ammunition(Roketsan/MKE) is handled in exports. For example does Aselsan deliver Hisar system + missiles as the main contractor or do they make a separate deal with Roketsan

Defense and aerospace exports exceeded $1.1 billion in October

Türkiye's defense and aerospace industry exports reached $1.14 billion in October, marking a 61% increase compared to the same period last year.

Haluk Görgün, President of the Presidency of Defense Industries, stated that defense and aerospace exports continue to grow.

Reporting that exports in October rose by 61% year-on-year to reach $1.14 billion, Görgün noted that exports for the January–October period totaled $8.05 billion—a 21% increase over the same period last year. He further highlighted that exports over the last 12 months have grown by 37%, reaching $11.357 billion. Görgün offered the following remarks:

"Under the leadership of our President, Mr. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, we are bringing our national technologies to international markets and enhancing the production and export capacity of our defense industry. I would like to thank my colleagues, our companies, our engineers, our technicians, and all stakeholders within our ecosystem who have contributed to this success."
