Trump's case was different he threatened TR but did not act upon it. Even though he did not do anything when the world's number 1 economy and admin of SWIFT systems threatens TR it will cause heavy ripples.
Trump took sanctions against the S-400s and he implemented taxes on aluminum imported from Turkey which led to a depreciation of the currency's value.

Sanctions were minimal and not targeted at the Turkish economy and aluminum taxes were a tiny drop in the bucket.

It is obvious that something is fishy and not normal behind lira drop, it is not normal for lira to be this weak when your export figures are all times high with stable and diverse production chaines.

London-based manipulators. I doubt they are connected to Trump or the US. If the US wants to bring the hammer on you they can do that they don't need London-based manipulators. The US could have thrown us out of the SWIFT system citing CAATSA as the reason. Anyway, those manipulators lost huge money and failed miserably.

We are still importing too much to export. We still need time to nationalize the raw materials, semi-finished goods, and components of the products we produce.

the only solution is an independence of the military industry, on the currency you will not be able to do, they are the ones who dictate the rules, Moody's, S*P, Fitch, they are the ones who decide the grades AA or AA-

It doesn't work like that. You can't just inject 200 billion of $ inside the Turkish economy and withdraw it tomorrow.

No meaningful economic sanctions applied to TR under CAATSA. CAATSA sanctions were symbolic and political.

otherwise for the experts of the wind in economy the USA is looking for economists to straighten out their debts
with 6,000 trillion in debt and more than 140 of their income in foreign debt, their currencies are rising, and some idiots believe in it.
here are the instant debts of the countries
look at where Turkey and Russia are, at the bottom of the ranking of countries with the least debt

dopey comment. No wonder the Turks of Turkey are piss poor. No brains to see a thief for what he is. Minimum wage here in the UK makes someone rich compared to the standards in Turkey.

Remember we like the Ottomans for their power and wealth, not for their weakness.

Everything bad thing happening in Tukey because of foreign powers it's an attack, everything good is thanks to akp. When S&P, Moody, Fitch increased ratings it was akp's success, now it's an attack. Why did you vote for akp back in 2002 when there is an "economic attack" on Turkey? Why didn't you protect your country?
