Didnt like it right? I know truth can be depressing, especially if you know deep down, that its true.I watched 2 minutes of it, it was how much effort it was worth.
Every single medie outlet is some kind of a agenda driven medium in the end, the important part is the content, i rarely watch any videos of them but the one about economy is just showing whats out in the open already, its nothing new they just mention it.Don't watch 140 journos even if what they say is true. 140 journos is a proven intelligence asset.
Well dont know any of those and whether they are illegal or malicious, as said im interested in the content of this particular video.It is funded by Chrest Foundation. Chrest Foundation also funds the media outlets below;
Medyascope, Mezopotamya Vakfı, Anadolu Kültür Derneği, Hrant Dink Vakfı, Filmmor Kadın Kooperatifi, 140Journos, İstanbul Kültür Sanat Vakfı, Serbestiyet, Hafıza Merkezi, Sivil Sayfalar, Bağımsız Gazetecilik Platformu P24, Mekânda Adalet Derneği, Ekonomi ve Dış Politikalar Merkezi (EDAM), TESEV, Türkiye Aile Sağlığı ve Planlaması Vakfı (TAPV), Yurttaşlık Derneği ve Diyarbakır Siyasal ve Sosyal Araştırmalar Enstitüsü (DİSA)
CHP has a plan though. Huge international funds promised big amounts of money over 300 billion $ but that comes with political terms like peace process 2.0, stopping aid to Azerbaijan, opening borders with Armenia, and shelving the Blue Homeland doctrine. Of course, stopping operations in Syria&Iraq (tied to the peace process 2.0) and sitting at the table with YPG.Half truths make the people believe, we have a truth that some gas has been found in the black sea, nice but now it is filled up with miraculous petrol finds (just giving the people the false hopes of economy that is down the drain will survive). It is a common played strategy (like the shale gas tales of last elections) and it works, people are naïve and want to believe and do not want to see bitter realities of "election economy".
My heart aches but I think after the elections next year in June very harsh times will start for Turkiye. Unfortunately economy is now in such bad shape that it does not even matter who wins, no any opposition either can bring a difference to the economic meltdown we have already entered.
Nobody can tell the future true but you can look at trends and politics of today to predict a certain outcome, whether that will be in 1 year or 5 years is the question. In terms of Turkish economy, we can trust no ones foreseeability. Neither our own nor foreign “experts”. They proof all wrong.
Remember, after Ukr-Rus war starts this year, every foreign “experts” told that Türkiye will be the biggest looser in this conflict. Now, look were we at. After USA, we are the biggest “winner”.
Things like central bank burning dollar to keep lira up or paying people who have their assets in lira the difference of value loss.My heart aches but I think after the elections next year in June very harsh times will start for Turkiye. Unfortunately economy is now in such bad shape that it does not even matter who wins, no any opposition either can bring a difference to the economic meltdown we have already entered.
This has to stop. Seriously. There are no political strings attached to ANYTHING. You think of the West as if it was Turkiye, there are individual investors, with individual aspirations. Is there any laws in the West banning investment to China???CHP has a plan though. The foreign banker who operated in Turkey said exactly that, an investor who is willing to invest his billions has many choices, he can choose stable emerging markets, Chile is such an exsample, why would anyone choose Turkey in its current shape over another country that has a better working institutions? It's like a joke? Is there even election security in the country? Which investor would be stupid enough to invest in here?
Turkey has everything it needs. But we are shooting ourselves in the foot with autocrats like Erdogan...The foreign banker who operated in Turkey said exactly that, an investor who is willing to invest his billions has many choices, he can choose stable emerging markets, Chile is such an exsample, why would anyone choose Turkey in its current shape over another country that has a better working institutions?
Turkey has the benefit of being neighbor to europe but certain people are always like 'west is this, west is that'' while the hard truth is Turkey would be just another thirt world country if it were not for the proximity and investment from west.
The banker also said Turkey has no fundamental flaws that would prevent it from having a stable economy, all the problems are homemade and easily fixable, he says its beyond him why they not just do the reforms.
We actually had all the reforms done after 2001 until Erdogan reversed all single handedly.
Where you get this kind of information?Nobody can tell the future true but you can look at trends and politics of today to predict a certain outcome, whether that will be in 1 year or 5 years is the question.
So far the trends of Turkish economics is bad since at least a decade.
1 Million young brains have left the country since 2013, these are the brightes brains the country has produced and we lost them to places that offer a fairer job market. Its incomprehensible what a huge loss this is for the future of the country.
Turkeys trend is clear.
IYI is the same as CHPTurkey has everything it needs. But we are shooting ourselves in the foot with autocrats like Erdogan...
I don't unserstand why we have nearly 35% of the population who blame everything on outsiders, and would live in mudhuts and still vote for Erdogan.
I mean if you don't like CHP, if you're right wing patriot, go vote for IYI.
I suggest everyone on this forum read Why Nations Fail, and Narrow Corridor by Daron Acemoglu. He explains why some countries fail and some succeed. He is currently advising CHP in the next government (hopefully).
That is completely wrong. Even simple military sales come with strings attached to them. Stop fooling yourself. This has to stop. Seriously. There are no political strings attached to ANYTHING. You think of the West as if it was Turkiye, there are individual investors, with individual aspirations. Is there any laws in the West banning investment to China???
China received $253 billion dollars in 2020 as FDI (foreign direct investment), China is the arch enemy of the United States.
In 2021 that is $183 billion - side note: it's decreasing because China is becoming even more autocratic than it already is and because of Chinese institutions collapsing.
There two things that make Germany rich, and Turkiye poor: Financial Capital and Brain Capital.
Money likes to park somewhere with independent judiciary, rule of law, freedom of speech, freedom of the press, free elections, civil liberties, fundamental rights. Institutional changes need to happen in Turkiye. Capital and Investments go to places where some random President can't nationalize it overnight. TV channels in Turkiye don't air speeches by opposition party members, people in the Supreme Election Council (Yüksek Seçim Kurulu) are elected by the judiciary (which is controlled by AKP). It's like a joke? Is there even election security in the country? Which investor would be stupid enough to invest in here?
Brain Capital, intellectuals, engineers, doctors, programmers, go to places where they can express themselves freely and live in peace without fear of persecution for their ideas and research.. Turkiye is a country where tweeting something critical of the President can get you in trouble, no wonder there is a big fucking brain drain problem!!??
We really need to frame this post for future discussionsCHP as is has not even a cure for herself, Turkish political arena is worse than a slapstick movie
Mate I just wanna ask but if Erdogan is an autocrat then what is the classification of ppl like MBS, Sisi, Maduro, Putin, Haftar, Xi Jing Ping etc.....Turkey has everything it needs. But we are shooting ourselves in the foot with autocrats like Erdogan...
