Feeding the poor is not nearly as resourcefulness showing

feeding the poor had always been the argument of an opposition once they come into power that does not matter and they will do things where the next opposition will use that argument against them too.. its a cycle of politics.. once they promise they talk but in the end they do what they want and are worser..

I dont see this kind of buildings as nessesary.. it could be half of that richness and would be enough..

but when I see russian golden palaces to welcome their guests.. or just american ones or some other nations than I also has thought at least we should have something alike, or does our nation ot deserve something like this.. and now we will have them.. again its not really such nessesary..

does anyone know how many it will cost?

Well, only if opposition promise that it will sold those mansions once their candidate win elections, this critique would have some merit, now it looks like ordinary jelaousy.
What about ordinary citizens. For me, this is a waste of my and other taxpayers' money.

Look at the many shopping malls around our cities, aren't they palaces?
People live in their own palaces and utilize amenities.
Unlike the times of the never elected rulers in our time palaces belong to the people where they show off to foreign observers. Gone are the days when we were ashamed when foreign visitors visited our country, such a happy day is today.

It will remain as statehood property to the service of turkish republic as it is decided by future elected authorities, you amd other citizens will decide on elections was it or not waste of public resources.
For notice, all big countries has this kind of facilities in service for the purpose of presidency and sophisticated diplomacy.

Your logic is quite astonishing. Shopping malls are built by private investors. And for me, there is an unnecessary number of shopping malls in Turkey. They are building shopping malls one next to another. Crazy and totally illogical.
For the second part, so you are not ashamed of millions of people struggling with economic problems but official buildings. Totally amazing.

You can not expect the nation to wait for the problems of every last citizen to be solved to make things that bring comfort to the nation. Let's stop trying to make satellite launch systems because there maybe some citizens still having a hard time in their lives. Suffering and feasting will coexist forever.

Stick the topic!!. I'm fed up with Erdoğan promoters .

2 million tradesmen, 446 thousand companies went bankrupt! The great wave of bankruptcy is coming

While the number of execution and bankruptcy files in the enforcement offices exceeded 22 million 127 thousand, 99 thousand in the last 1 year, and approximately 2 million tradesmen in 16 years have closed their shutters. The number of companies closed down approached half a million. A serious bankruptcy wave is expected in 2021 due to bad loans.
While thousands of companies lock the door, those who try to survive with debt face the risk of failing to repay the loans they receive.

While the amount of bad loans exceeded 150 billion TL, according to UYAP data, the number of enforcement and bankruptcy files in enforcement offices has increased to 22 million 127 thousand as of today. While many businesses are closed in the pandemic, the daily number of files coming to the enforcement offices is around 17 thousand.

In particular, serious difficulties are expected in the repayment of the loan expansion, which was cheaper after June 2020 and exceeding 1 trillion lira per year. Experts point out that as the tolerance provided in repayments due to the pandemic comes to an end, banks will squeeze debtor companies in the new year, and many bankruptcies and change hands may come to the agenda. The broad-defined number of unemployed and job loss, revised with the impact of Covid-19, approached 10 million in October 2020. The number of unemployed is expected to increase exponentially this year.
Turkey Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges (TOBB), according to data from January to November 2020 increased by 11 percent compared to the same period the number of company closures in 2019, 12 thousand 206 output. The number of real person commercial enterprises that were closed also jumped to 19 thousand 665 with an increase of 14.39 percent.

According to TOBB data, the number of companies that have been closed since 2009 has been 153 thousand 241, while the number of real person commercial enterprises that raised the flag of bankruptcy rose to 292 thousand 711 in the same period. The sum of the two is approaching half a million.

Do you wonder if it is fake news? Do you need source?

The number of enforcement files exceeded 26 million

In the report prepared by the CHP, it was stated that the execution files pending in the courts reached 26.1 million. CHP's Muharrem Erkek said, "The reason for the intensity in courthouses is the economic policies of the government.

You can not equate the luxury building to a satellite launch system. There is no benefit of a presidential residency etc to citizens. It's just there to satisfy some people. It's totally illogical to spend money on such things when there is billions of TL budget deficit.

We are the world leader in food price raise

Turkey became a champion with 20.6 annual percentage increase in food prices among OECD countries.

According to OECD data, Argentina is the inflation champion all over the world. In Argentina, as of December 2020, annual consumer inflation reaches 35.8 percent, and the rate of increase in food prices reaches 40.4 percent.

Although due to the destruction of the epidemic in the world economy in an environment where there is close to zero inflation, Turkey has managed to become a champion and an increase in consumer food prices. December 2020 as an annual percentage 14.6 reaching consumers and food prices reached 20.6'y percent among developing countries, Turkey, with an increase after the second row settled in Argentina, Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD) rose to a leading position among the countries

"Despite the historical peak in 2011, food prices in the world have decreased by 17 percent in the last 10 years, in Türkiye prices have increased by 225 percent"

A Satellite launching system is a thing that benefits the security of the nation and the development of science and technology in the country. A luxurious palace with golden bathtubs where Emine will wash her muff benefits nobody.

Fuck the poor, I don’t care for them even a bit but The State doesn’t need stupid palaces in some shithole like Ahlat to show how prestigious or developed it is. Instead of wasting billions on hundreds of limousines, palaces, dozens of planes etc you can invest them in science and productivity and you will be viewed as a much more prestigious state in the end...

If you don't make those expenses you will lose in diplomacy.

What diplomacy, dude... Nobody abroad cares how many Mercedes Limousines you have in your entourage, or how many rooms your Presidential Palace has, or if you have a complex in Ahlat and Marmaris with a damn plane landing strip near it to park your 747 there etc.

Military might, economic and financial power, strategic location and population, technology, science and education, rule of law, culture, soft power... I can count you a 1000 other things that are way more important for how a country is viewed by the world and by the foreign powers than unnecessary luxury for some stupid politicians with inferiority complexes.

The first thing that a ghetto gypsy does when he gets some big money is to show off with as many shiny/golden things as possible. He doesn’t think about the future or if there is any better way to invest his money etc- he cares what other gypsies around him think and how to impress them.

ps The problem with wasting resources on unnecessary luxuries doesn’t start and doesn’t end with Erdogan and his family- you can see such wasteful behavior in almost every municipality and state institution too.

Like Switzerland is losing in diplomacy because their government is lacking palaces. What kind of logic bending reasoning is that?

You think that diplomacy is Civilization V and you need to build wonders/palaces for a diplomacy victory?

Our Erdogan fanboy think a satellite has same value like a palace. Strange.

If you only knew what Josip Broz Tito built for himself in much poorer state them turkey is today, you would consider Erdogan as modest and humble person., to much fuss about irrelevant thing for ordinary citizen, like he will take it with him once when he steps out.
