President Abdel-Fattah El Sisi praised on Tuesday modern and integrated infrastructure in Egypt, which he said provides a strong basis for boosting development cooperation with international partners.

During a meeting with South Korean Foreign Minister Suh Wook, the president voiced Egypt's keenness on promoting relations with South Korea, especially in the military and defense fields, Presidential Spokesman Bassam Rady said.

Egypt also looks forward to activating the comprehensive cooperative partnership with South Korea in a way that helps benefit from the huge capabilities of the two countries, Sisi added.
Suh, for his part, praised the great national projects being established in Egypt under the leadership of President Sisi.

He also valued the role played by Egypt to contain tensions between the Palestinian and Israeli sides.

According to the spokesman, the meeting also reviewed military and security cooperation between the two countries, especially in the industrial and technological domains.

Suh Wook met on Saturday with Egyptian Ambassador to South Korea Hazem Fahmy to discuss the significant progress in relations with Egypt since El-Sisi’s visit to Seoul in 2016.
The minister, during the meeting, revealed that South Korean President Moon Jae-in is keen on visiting Cairo sometime in early 2022.

If your head of state must tell another head of state that your country is advanced, then it probably not true.

I hope Egypt develops fast and a lot of people are brought out of poverty. The current pace is too slow.

Absolutely we will. Egypt has announced the launch of a three-year Egyptian weapons manufacturing plan to achieve self-sufficiency and export Egyptian weapons abroad.

Do you have an engine program?

I am not sure about engine programs but The weapons manufactured in Egypt are in line with the needs of the police and army in their operations. The Egyptian armored vehicles suit the desert geography of the areas of operations in the Sinai Peninsula and meet the requirements of the security forces that might not be available in imported weapons. On Dec. 19, 2019, the Egyptian army released a video of a number of weapons manufactured in the factories affiliated with the Ministry of Defense and Military Production, such as Temsah-3 and vehicles ST-100/ST-500, the armored vehicle Fahd-300 and the modified Egyptian 13 mm gun M-46.

You read my mind. A few people pay attention to the Human Development Index (HDI) of countries. In HDI rankings, Egypt ranks 116, which reflects a country in deep poverty. While Turkey for example ranks 54, at the same level as Russia.

I'm talking about an army (Egyptian Army) that hasn't fought in 50 years and doesn't want to fight either.
I will introduce you to this army and your factories, what they actually do.

But one thing is certain. The ammunition and weapons transferred to Syria from these factories have not found any acceptance of the Syrian Army because they are so inferior. The opposing forces fighting against Assad understood very painfully that they should stay away from Egyptian weapons and ammunition.

This army has long been a company that is not out to wage war, but to consumption, wants to go on like this.

Military Factory 54, known as the "Maadi Society for Engineering Industries", does not produce machine guns, but kitchen knives, scissors or scalpels, radiators and sports equipment

Military factory 63, the Hulwan factory, does not produce a major order for ammunition cases, the workers provide cables, garden sprinklers or teacups.

Military Factory 100 "Abu Sabaal" supplies not only dynamite and tank and artillery shells but also fertilizers and cosmetics and produces water and fuel tanks

Military Factory 360 "Hulwan Metal Applications Company" not only processes metal into lead casings, but also builds refrigerators and air conditioners.

Egyptian Tank Plant builds fire fighting vehicles.

in Egypt there is a steaming service under the name “Watch It” like Netflix. The streaming service belongs to a media company of the military secret service.

The motto of this Army is ingeniously simple: "Bloodshed is bad for business" as the US Navy college in Monterey, California put it. And according to that college, Army was just terrified of a civilian coming to power and forcing them to disclose their books. And they avoided that with the coup. The trading activities of this army in Egypt are secret and are not subject to any control.

In addition to arms factories, the army owns cleaning companies, day nurseries, slaughterhouses, the "Wataniyya" gas station chain - and above all: land. Much land that it has confiscated over time. In more than 35 factories, army-owned companies produce flat screen televisions or refrigerators, pasta and olive oil called "Queen", the mineral water called "Safi".

I can still write in detail but no one can convince me that this army could face Turkey in the future.

Egypt can easily obtain the weapons it wants from other countries. This is the result of Egypt's excellent relations with other countries. You are right, but we are starting to produce these weapons step by step

With all due respect

The good relations with the other countries, so that by that I mean Greece Israel BAE Saudi Arabia USA serve for a purpose. To control Egypt.

Greece, with which Egyptia has a good relationship, is against the rules of nature. Since the Kavalai Mechmed Ali Pascha suppressed the Greek revolt with the request of the Ottomans, the Greeks have never forgotten them and have not forgiven them.

To control of Egypt. Let me put it this way .. Alone existence of Al Azhar University also the guardianship of Egypt in Muslim countries. And you can add a lot to that. For Israel, USA the only reason for good relations is to keep this country under control: Control of Egypt.

Regarding weapon production: it is no longer that simple. Today if you missed the train, it's over. Egypt long missed the train. You see ... Turkey runs behind the train and gets caught in the process. Turkey started running behind the train in 1974. And now almost in there but not quite.

Mustafa Kemal ATATÜRK said for the Italian army in 1938: It would have catastrophic consequences if you tried this army in a war.
And that turned out to be true.

With all due respect, the same goes for Egypt's army
