Embraer’s Phenom 300EV Secures Triple Certification, Becomes First Light Jet Certified with Garmin® Emergency Autoland

Published
August 25, 2026

· World's best-selling light jet for 14 consecutive years is the largest business jet to offer Garmin® Emergency Autoland
· Aircraft introduces new technology and innovation to enhance safety, simplify operation and refine the cabin experience

Embraer

Melbourne, Florida, August 25, 2026 – Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ / B3: EMBJ3) today announced that the Phenom 300EV has received triple certification from Brazil’s Civil Aviation Authority (ANAC — Agência Nacional de Aviação Civil), the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA), and the European Union Aviation Safety Agency (EASA), making it the first light jet certified with Garmin® Emergency Autoland.
Introduced in July, the world’s fastest and furthest-flying light jet incorporates intuitive safety technology and a series of performance and interior enhancements designed to amplify its renowned capabilities and further enhance the customer experience. With certification now complete, the Phenom 300EV is approved for operation in key global markets.
“The Phenom 300EV builds on the legendary capabilities of the world's best-selling light jet, now enhanced through purposeful innovations that further elevate safety technology, best-in-class performance characteristics, and the customer experience,” said Michael Amalfitano, President & CEO of Embraer Executive Jets. “Achieving triple certification is a testament to the dedication of our teams and Embraer's disciplined approach to engineering excellence and execution. With this important milestone achieved, we look forward to bringing the Phenom 300EV to customers worldwide and extending the remarkable reputation of the Phenom 300 series.”
As the largest business jet equipped with Garmin® Emergency Autoland, the Phenom 300EV can execute a fully automated landing in the unlikely event of pilot incapacitation. Enabling these electronically controlled functions, including autobrake and rudder-by-wire, Embraer designed and developed the Multi-Purpose Electronic Controller (MEC), contributing to enhanced handling, reduced workload and simplified maintenance.
With a best-in-class range, increased to 2,055 nautical miles (3,806 km), carrying four passengers with NBAA IFR reserves, the Phenom 300EV enables nonstop regional flights, including routes such as Aspen to New York, Dubai to the Maldives, and São Paulo to Manaus. Complementing this performance capability, the aircraft has an increased payload capability and features cabin refinements including a state-of-the-art line-fit connectivity solution powered by Gogo Galileo’s Low Earth Orbit (LEO) satellite network, delivering high-speed global connection. Starlink connectivity will also be available as an aftermarket solution via a Supplemental Type Certificate (STC).
Deliveries of the new model are expected to begin in 2028. For more information, please visit: www.embraer.com/executive-jets-our-aircraft/phenom-300ev/en/

Colombia Acquires the KC-390 Millennium to Modernize its Airlift and Aerial Refueling Capabilities

Published
August 04, 2026

· Colombia becomes the first Latin American nation beyond Brazil to acquire the Millennium and the 13th country worldwide to select the standard-setting aircraft
· The KC-390 has been selected as the best platform to meet the operational needs and mission requirements of the Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana (FAC)

Embraer

Bogotá, Colombia, August 4, 2026 – Embraer (NYSE: EMBJ/ B3: EMBJ3) announced today that the Fuerza Aeroespacial Colombiana (FAC) has signed a contract for the acquisition of two KC-390 Millennium multi-mission aircraft, marking a significant milestone in the modernization of Colombia’s airlift and aerial refueling capabilities. The contract also includes mission equipment, an integrated services and support package, and a comprehensive offset program designed to meet Colombia’s regulatory requirements.
The FAC’s KC-390 Millennium fleet will be capable of performing a wide range of missions, including humanitarian assistance, disaster relief, cargo and troop transport, airdrop operations, and air-to-air refueling. The aircraft will also feature full connectivity to operate seamlessly alongside Colombia’s recently acquired Gripen fighters, enhancing the nation’s operational readiness and interoperability.
"We are honored by the FAC’s decision to select the KC-390 Millennium. This choice reinforces a partnership that spans more than 35 years, dating back to the FAC’s acquisition of its first Embraer aircraft, an EMB-312 Tucano followed by the A-29 Super Tucano. The KC-390 will significantly expand and strengthen Colombia’s airlift and aerial refueling capabilities, setting a new standard for operational excellence," said Bosco da Costa Junior, President and CEO of Embraer Defense & Security.
The KC-390 Millennium, built and designed in the 21st century, is the most modern military transport aircraft in its class. It can carry more payload (26 tons) compared to other medium-sized military transport aircraft, flying faster (470 knots) and farther. It can perform a wide range of missions, including cargo and troop transport, equipment and personnel airdrops, medical evacuation, search and rescue (SAR), firefighting, and humanitarian missions, operating from temporary or unpaved runways. The aircraft, when configured with quick-installation air-to-air refueling equipment (AAR), can operate both as a tanker and as a receiver.
In addition to the Brazilian Air Force, this next-generation multi-mission aircraft has been selected by the air forces of Portugal, Hungary, the Republic of Korea, the Netherlands, Austria, the Czech Republic, Uzbekistan, Sweden, the United Arab Emirates, Slovakia,
and Lithuania. The KC-390 Millennium delivers unmatched capability, reliability, versatility, and performance to meet the tactical and strategic needs of air forces worldwide with seamless interoperability.
