1-TF-X
2- Unmanned combat fighter (what baykar is trying to produce)
3- Foreign aircraft (I believe it is about Pakistan or US due to latest developments)
What about the drone programs being done by TAI?
Wasnt TAI making goksungur and another drone near in size to TFX for it to be a wing man?
For me, these are more important than the drone by baykar (not saying it isnt important, but these takes precedence)

TuAF clearly wants quick replacement for F-4's.

TFX seems to turn into a pure air superiority fighter, and i really expect that future air to ground missions will done mainly by unmanned aircrafts. Unmanned Air to Air combat with drones needs more time due AI etc. but Air to Ground operations were conducted just "yesterday" with small MALE drones.
Isnt that obvious?
With TFX specs, it will be too ineffecient to hit ground targets with it. I mean you can produce the same damage with an unmanned drone that is like..... 90% cheaper

Let the TFX be air superiority yet can do multirole when needed
Leave the ground missions to long range bombs, drones, and hurjet

This is the optimal solution with greatest efficacy

I would make a special bomber with four TFX engines.
Quick in quick out with plenty of payload and range.

When did he say there was an alternative? Some people say they said it in 2018 on Twitter.

I dont want to offend anybody here. but, Old minds can't see it! they just repeat old idea/ paths which leading to worst for Turkiye

- Eurofighter ? - old tech, what about EU embargo. Are you forget it. Turkiye is pushed to corner

- Rafale - I dont want to say it what i think about that options, SO.
no way, france is enemy of Turkiye ( military, political, social and check france action against Turkiye last 10 years. They are systematic as dirction, I dont understand what you thinking )

- Su-35/57 - New junk, also Turkiye have Completely diffrent military system. What you want to do arabian still military?

Above options were already reviewed from Turk officals and they check what are the opinions of other side.
Result was and it is still the same Big Risks for Turkiye.

Steps which Turkiye took are showen on media, but some ppl do not want to see it.
Why you don't want see and understand what happend last 10+ years with Turkiye
pseudo allies?
conflict with russia?

It was Turkiye that take the initiative and Turkiye want to see itself were it can reach. This was done step by step and with check adapt strategy
You see only fails, but it was not a fail att ALL.
It show that Turkiye activated on "Stage" and it will stay that way.

Turkiye already decide to go own path. And also it is obvious that Turkiye WILL and WANT historically to join with countries which ALWAYS were with TURKIYE
All Turk countries, Pakistan, Qatar, Lybia, South Korea. <- Those are main cores as alternatives for Turkiye and it can rely

I want aslo to just give you deep prespective for other option and it is last option . it is that China is willing and actually prepared, if Turkiye want tech. They will respond to that demand ( i mean to sell it things which are not option for many other contries at all)

So If Turkiye fall to that state. My personal opinon is that there no such way, but lets speculate

Options are
South Korea
Pakistan
and end solution China

Unlease Pseudo Allies do not change thier brutal lies and emargos on Turkiye.
There are no naive Turk officals left at moment as before when the matter is Turkiye and they CAN NOT rely on pseudo allies
Pseudo allies lost hard build it TRUST with Turkiye I mean it literally

MMU initially was going to be an air superiority fighter to supplement F-35s. It would still had air-to-ground capabilities but would had been limited. MMU later revised to multi-role. Specs changed.

F-4s going to be used for air-to-ground until MMU. Reasons being it went through modernization and heavily armed.

In the short time frame Akinci, Aksungur is said to take off weight. Hurjet is under development. Baykar MIUS will be oriented towards air-to-ground roles. I believe it would be a very good balance between cost, performance. I assume operating costs going to be around $3000+. F-16 hourly operating costs are $25,000+. No munitions included. New munitions such as the miniature bomb can carry out bunker buster roles like terrorist caves far cheaper. MAM-T, Kuzgun. Munitions used to cost $100,000+ and wasn't even advanced. Surgical capabilities were far limited. This is revolutionizing

SSB head İsmail Demir stated that 3 options are on the table as an alternative to the F-35.
it would be a very unnecessary expense. now begins the time of autonomous and artificial intelligence aircrafts. (i think it's a false flag or a political statement.)

1- New F16s
2 - Used F16s
3 - More F16s

Please no russian junk.. may be Eurofighter Typhoons (used, new from UK), most likely more f16s, definitely not f15s.. I wish Rafales but France never give them (or double price them) .. most logical thing is to get F16 Block 70 in return for money paid and efforts in Afganistan.

But TFX won't be fully operational for another 8-10 years and fleet is aging, setting up new infrastructure is costly and time consuming but also need for new planes is certain. It won't be surprising to acquire more F16s. TurAF possibly already requesting it but relations..

considering all the risks, i think that we left the f 35 project intentionally. we develop and manufacture new generation unmanned aerial vehicles very cheaply. what we need is only 15 years at most.

Göksungur was designed to serve as target drone. But it can be converted to at least kamikaze or spy drone. I don't think it is a big drone. Because it was said that göksungur was released from aksungur.

They forgot a screw :ROFLMAO: I hope TuAF doesn't buy this. Even our mockups are higher quality.
If i remember correctly, Russians are more straighforward in RAM application, they attach a new panel over the whole body with screws instead of painting the hull with RAM paint in micron sensitivity.

According to the statement made by Turkish Aerospace Industries (TUSAŞ), the company contributes to the development of the auxiliary industry at all stages from production processes to testing of the final product, as well as R&D activities in engineering and technical matters for high-tech products.

Continuing to develop the critical parts of the air platform as well as the structural components by its own engineers, TAI also supports the development of the domestic auxiliary industry in many stages from raw material to the production of the needed part.

In this context, in original and national projects such as TUSAŞ, GÖKBEY, HÜRJET, HÜRKUŞ, National Combat Aircraft, Heavy Class Attack Helicopter, ANKA, AKSUNGUR, T129 ATAK and T70 Utility Helicopter, working in the field of subsystems, equipment and materials, from hydraulic systems to power systems. carries out a wide range of localization activities from fire extinguishing systems to fuel tanks, from landing gear to air-conditioning systems and lighting units.

Thus, the company aims for the fully independent development of the Turkish aviation ecosystem. With the completion of the localization works of more than 600 aircraft components, which the company continues with around 250 domestic and national companies, a total of 500 million dollars of foreign procurement will be prevented in the coming years.

By the end of this year, the localization stages of nearly 100 components for unique air platforms will be completed.
