This is should be a warning to Turkiye to be honest.

Israel is not a friend also had hand in destabilising the Middle East alongside Iran and Saudi Arabia.

See how Israeli lobbying led to destabilisation and the invasion of Iraq by the USA. All based on a bullshit lie of WMDs.

Chairman of the Republican People's Party (CHP) of Turkey Ozgur Ozel will visit Azerbaijan. The politician stated this in an interview with Habertürk TV channel.

“It is impossible to escape some of the traditions of the state. The elections are over, I left the congress as chairman. First of all, I visited Cyprus (TRNC). Then he asked for a meeting in Azerbaijan. The second one should be carried out to Azerbaijan,” said the party leader.

He added that he “plans to visit Azerbaijan in the coming days.”

According to him, Turkey's main opposition party cannot have bad relations with Azerbaijan.

“If we have a mistake, then it must be eliminated,” the politician added. (Minval.az)

The American exodus continues: the UAE has shown the door to the American military.

The US is losing its position in the Middle East, where it has many military bases. This time it came down to the Emirates, which said it would no longer allow Washington to strike targets in Yemen and Iraq using equipment stationed at the Al Dhafra base near Abu Dhabi.
It is reported that the Yankees have already begun transferring their troops from the OAU to Qatar (minval.az)

By the way, yesterday the Pentagon confirmed the withdrawal of its troops from Niger.

So… is there a timeframe for when the trade is halted ? I assume it is not immediately or Erdogan has not signed anything or ….

IS says a vessel departed from Türkiye to Israel 2 days after RTE spoke about the trade halt
“ Good news for the construction industry: Turkey has approved resuming supplies to Israel

While in Israel the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the Ministry of Economy are working feverishly in recent days to end Israel's dependence on imports from Turkey even in the long term, the Turkish Ministry of Commerce sent letters to enterprises in the local construction industry and informed them of a temporary approval to resume supplies to Israel”

No press conference btw Turkiye + Ethiopia's Foreign Ministers yesterday - nor was there lengthy statement released after meeting btw Turkish President + Ethiopian PM's envoy

Suggests no great desire to put out public message, or that there are some sensitivities at play. Meeting is interesting in the light of the recent deal by Ethiopia w/ breakaway Somaliland - followed by Turkiye's maritime defence deal with
Somalia

This has been debunked.

I'd recommend you refrain from using Haskoloğlu's statements as sources. Dude's a clown.

By whom? Do present the rebuttal.

Globes is not linked to a Turkish journalist and I have been reading it for years.

The statements of the Israeli Foreign Minister are absolutely fictional and have nothing to do with reality. We stand behind the decision we have taken as a government regarding trade with Israel. This decision remains valid. Our decision to stop trade with Israel is in effect until our conditions for stopping Israel's attacks on Gaza, ensuring a permanent ceasefire and uninterrupted delivery of humanitarian aid to our Palestinian brothers in Gaza are met.

I got confused from the reply you attached and thought it was you that attached the Haskoloğlu's tweet, not @Saithan. Still a solid advice to follow though. Sorry for any confusion.

@Heartbang what do you consider reliable journalism then ? You can’t just toss a he’s a clown in there and expect people to follow your advice. Perhaps you’re into selective journalism ?

Not İbrahim Haskoloğlu. That's for sure.

There are people in this nation that, under the guise of "journalism", try to implant ideas to our people's minds that are harmful to our very existence. And they manage to get handsomely rewarded by various foreign intelligence agencies for their behavior.
Fonşin Fongü is one of them, and so is İbrahim.

Our mainstream media is long gone, I won't dispute that. But be careful who you pick to get the news in the social media. You might be avoiding the doodoo, only to step on a landmine.

I don’t think this is a rebuttal to Globes’ claim of a “temporary approval” and afaik was not what Israeli FM claimed. Anyhow, gov channels have time and time again showed that they will outright lie re trade with Israel, which is fine, it’s internal politics.

This is a perfect foray into geopolitics, where we do also need to add in the needs and interests of Turkish companies (and other respective ones) when talking about geopolitics. If a temporary waiver does exist, it was created with pressure from the businesses. “Turkish businesses” doesn’t always have to follow gov’s own internal interests.

Political scammers from the American so-called “Lemkin Institute for the Prevention of Genocide” condemned the statement of the Prime Minister of Armenia Nikol Pashinyan about the “genocide” of the Armenians in 1915 and accused him of denying this “crime”. The institute stated: “Although we, as a rule, do not interfere in the internal affairs of states, but...”

This is a case where scammers want to appear to be more devout Christians than the Pope.

Why don’t these American political swindlers turn their attention to another region, where literally in these hours, when these swindlers are composing a statement about controversial historical events, with the help of the United States, real hell is going on on earth!
“Although we do not interfere in the internal affairs of states...”
Wonderful!
Fraudsters! Take action in the Gaza Strip! There is simply no state there!
Or are you not interested?!

It is said that Greece will have 12.8B EUR in total for new equipment purchases (in addition to what’s already been contracted) from 2024 to 2035. They want to divide it roughly equally between the three forces. It seems with the globally rising weapon prices the arms race they wanted to start is taking a toll on their stagnant economy.

If only we did anything to sabotage their revenue streams...
