Greek prime minister Mitsotakis addressing MPs and senators at US congress

"I don't get that much applause in the Greek parliament," he said.
It has received applause at least four times so far.(Half of the congress are greeks lmao)

Even Zelenski didn't get this much applause.

According to Mitsotakis, Greece "unquestionably" sided with Ukraine.

Mitsotakis: “I ask you not to forget the open wound that has caused the endless suffering of Hellenism in the last 48 years. Cyprus. The Cyprus problem must be resolved. No one will accept the two-state solution.”

“I want to be clear, we will not accept acts of aggression that violate our sovereignty and land rights. Aircraft crossings over the Greek islands must stop immediately.”

Get ready, people, 2022 will be very hot, they will pump up and throw Greece at us like a food.

One of the reasons why I never vote for leftists they all treat their minorities like their children.

Somebody needs to tell them to get f'd.

Their bs emotions does not translate to geopolitics.

Sweden and Finland are literally the Sjw capitals of the world. It seems Finland is willing to talk while Sweden is acting like ahole as usual.

Seriously why is Sweden so hostile to us?
First time buddy ?
Even we Indians never understood why these fellows are hostile to us

Norway created much trouble during Lankan civil war by arming rebels etc ( we burnt our hands there , our first large scale foreign intervention kek )
But they can't cause much harm to us, we are too big for them and they are too small for us

The US lured Russia into Ukraine by saying the US and NATO won't directly interfere, according to our intel Russia can steamroll Ukraine in a week, half of Ukraine is ethnic Russians and will welcome their kin with open arms, etc. and Putin was dumb enough to take the bait. The US is doing the same thing to Greece albeit a little more different. The US gave a pat on the back to Greece and said don't worry we got your back. We will help you, send you weapons, etc. The US hopes Greece is dumb enough to take the bait. A possible GR-TR war will enormously serve the US interests. The advance of TR will be stopped. GR will be forever under US control. The EU will lose another huge trade and energy partner after Russia and be highly dependent on the US. The US will get whatever it wants by playing each side against the other for the maximum profit. The US wants Greeks to die for their sake. It is similar to how the Brits used Greece after WW1 to invade Anatolia which didn't end well. There is one problem though. Russia couldn't steamroll Ukraine but what if Turkiye steamrolls Greece?

We shouldnt give up in this case, like the Pastor Brunson case. This is a huge chance to give the PKK a massive blow on diplomatic level because Sweden is a very big sponsor of the Unibrow LGBT-army.

We just got them by the balls and we should not let them go. A second chance like this will not come. This is one of the benefits of our NATO membership. We have the power here, not Sweden or Finland.

If they dont meet our demands, we will get something from Russia in return. We can win on both sides of the spectrum if we play it nice and smart.

About Pastor Brunson it is look like you not understood what really happened.
Actually Turkiye received fair enough, even If I would say more then could Turkiye wish for.

I will try to explain:

What happened was that there were Turkiye official person tricked by usa lets say specific organization group that was gathered to start International LAW SUE against Turkiye related to Embargo and Billions of laundry. All because of this person which is the head of this pyramid. So the only way to start legally this was if this person come to usa and be arrested there this case happend. Result is that Turkiye WOULD lose this Law SUE and there were no any legal chance that Turkiye is not gilty.

Back then Pastor Brunson event happend and the moment in time which happened was like Lucky day for Turkiye. I am really glad that Turkiye saw this person Pastor Brunson as case to be used as exchange and used it in the best way possible. It was Turkiye's Big card on the table for exchange.
Even more there were nothing which usa would like to exchange for this Law Sue. I mean Turkiye keep discussed the case with usa but they rejected any proposels.

At the same time just from nothing pop up in media and became NON stop news. So HUGE that affected usa government.
Turk officials did not believe it when usa said lets exchange Pastor Brunson for Turkiye case of Law Sue.
The rest is history Turkiye hit the jackpot.

Who was the person related to laundry I do not remember the name but let me give you direction he was One of few people for Turkiye economy. He was manger of a Bank and this bank was used for laundry and the money we talking about were ~80 billions. Iraninan person represent as responsible of this money and the source of money is Iran. Issue was that there we Embaro on Iran and Turkiye was part of this embargo but this person able to get this money laundry them send them to other country but they were caught by usa

What Turkey Wants From Sweden and Finland in NATO Expansion Spat

As Turkey threatens to block bids to join NATO by Sweden and Finland in the wake of Russia’s invasion of Ukraine, Bloomberg spoke to three senior Turkish officials about what their government is looking to achieve with the high-stakes brinkmanship.

The officials spoke on condition of anonymity, saying they weren’t authorized to speak publicly about internal government deliberations, and all gave broadly similar assessments. Here’s a summary of what they had to say.

Kurdish militancy

Ankara is insisting that any new candidates for NATO membership recognize its concerns about Kurdish militias -- both inside Turkey and across its borders in Syria and Iraq.

That’s been a major source of tension within the alliance, because while all NATO members recognize the Kurdistan Workers’ Party, or PKK, as a terrorist organization within Turkey, many have supported and even armed its Syrian offshoot, the YPG, in the fight against Islamic State.

Turkey’s demanding that Sweden and Finland publicly denounce not only the PKK, but also its affiliates before being allowed to join the bloc. The Turkish officials said that designating the PKK as a terrorist organization isn’t enough: the Nordic applicants must do more to clamp down on PKK sympathizers it says are active in their countries.

Arms exports

Turkey also wants Sweden and Finland to put an end to arms-export restrictions they imposed on Turkey, along with several other European Union members, after its 2019 incursion into Syria to push the YPG back from the frontier, the officials said.

While Turkey’s arms trade with the two countries is negligible and it’s not seeking any major defense purchases with them, the officials said that on principle Ankara won’t accept expanding a military alliance to countries that are blocking weapons deals. Foreign Minister Mevlut Cavusoglu has made the point publicly, saying the arms restrictions go “against the spirit” of an alliance.

Past mistakes

Turkey accepted Greece’s return to NATO in the 1980s after the two countries fought a war in 1974 over Cyprus, and is keen not to repeat what the officials say is now viewed in Ankara as a mistake.

Athens and its Cypriot allies later emerged as key obstacles blocking Turkey’s bid for membership in the EU, rejected a UN vote on a unification plan for Cyprus, and have been engaged in constant territorial disputes with Turkey over parts of the Aegean and Mediterranean seas.

Learning from that lesson, the officials said it would be unwise to expect Turkey to change course and accede to Swedish and Finnish membership in NATO, unless disputes are first resolved and the Nordic countries publicly commit to solidarity with Turkey against the Kurdish groups.

Finnish President Sauli Niinisto, who is traveling to Washington, D.C. on Thursday with Swedish Prime Minister Magdalena Andersson, said he’s “optimistic” Turkey’s stance can be “managed through discussions,” without addressing any of Ankara’s specific demands.

Moscow’s aggression has severely jolted the Nordic region, meaning policy makers may be willing to find a compromise.

Other demands

While the officials said Turkey isn’t looking to bargain over subjects beyond Finland and Sweden’s stances on the Kurdish conflict, Ankara’s gripes with NATO run deep and its wish-list is long.

Turkey wants to be re-included in the F-35 advanced aircraft program, from which it was barred after it bought S-400 missile-defense systems from Russia. It also has an outstanding request to the US to purchase dozens of F-16s warplanes and upgrade kits for its existing fleet. Moreover, Turkey wants the US to lift sanctions over its possession of the S-400 missiles.

Using its leverage over NATO expansion to achieve any of those aims will be challenging. But Turkey has shown it’s willing to dig deep, and even sustain damage to its economy, in recent geopolitical disputes over a detained American pastor, the Russian missile deal, or its military campaigns against the Kurds.

Russia, elections

The officials dismissed the idea that Turkey’s opposition to Sweden and Finland entering NATO has anything to do with its ties to Russia, or with President Recep Tayyip Erdogan’s friendship with Russian President Vladimir Putin.

Turkey has sought a middle path over the war in Ukraine, as it seeks to balance its ties with both Moscow -- critical to protecting Turkish troops deployed in Syria -- and Kyiv, which Ankara has supplied with armed drones.

They also denied that the NATO gambit is linked to domestic politics, rejecting speculation that elevating the Kurdish issue onto a global stage is meant to benefit Erdogan by consolidating support among nationalists ahead of elections scheduled for next year.

Turkey is pursuing a foreign policy in line with its own national interests, and would agree to NATO’s expansion should the concerns it’s outlined with regard to the Nordic nations be met, the officials said.

Martin Vrijland is a Dutch militairy conspiracy-theorist, he has a own website and he wrote in 2019 just before the Covid-comedy that Turkey undert Erdogan would invade Greece and South-Cyprus and after that they would take back the lost Ottoman territories in the Balkans.

France under Macron would be the only country trying to help Greece, but also being defeated by Turkey. The European Union would be game over.

The US would not interfere in this war because a weak Europe benefits them more.

We have a nice list probably none of our requests will be satisfied and those two countries won't be a part of NATO.

Despite greek ambitions they have no real capabilities. For example what Turkey was able to do in Libya the greeks couldnt do, what Turkey is able to do in syria or iraq, they can't do. They literally need a nation or nations to declare war on Turkey, but outside the USA whose going to do that?

Before the Ukraine war i thought only two nations have significant strength to launch an invasion against Turkey, one was Russia and the other the USA. With Russia i thought they could attempt an invasion but it wouldn't succeed, only the USA could. But even then they needed 400,000 thousand troops to take saddam hussein out whose nation was already split in 3 a complete ruin. To deal with Turkey they would need millions of men, i can't seem them bringing that sort of firepower to Turkey.

Even if the USA did declare war on Turkey, all that happens is they force Turkey onto Russia and Iran's side, they cant occupy Turkey or take her over. Then their games in the middle became an even bigger nightmare to accomplish.

Turkish domestic capabilities is only growing now, she's in no rush really to do anything other then to pick and choose where she wants to commit some resources. But greece has no ability to do the same.

For example they supported haftar and made many photo shoots with the warlord terrorist, but they didnt have the balls to back him with military power. While Turkey backed the government of Libya who was under attack from Russia, France, gulf states and the EU was against her.

greeks need to be able to win on the battlefield, everything else is just in the piss wind. The western world is continuously blowing smoke up their arses in the hope they do something stupid and in a conflict the outsider will make gains from it while both Turkey and Greece lose from it. At least that's their hopes.

This is why the western world works so hard to stir minorities up within Turkey, they cannot conquer Turkey from outside, but they need to achieve the same games they achieved against the Ottomans.

The people of Turkey cannot ignore these tricks they have to get active. The PKK is an atheist marxist terrorist organisation who hates Muslims, most Kurds in Turkey are Muslim and thus ideologically opposed to it. Many Kurdish groups in Syria and Iraq are allied to Turkey against the PKK. The narrative of Innocent Kurds being slaughtered by Turks is a western conspiracy against the Turkish state.

And lets not forget how Kurdish refugees were treated recently when the approached the Polish border. It wasn't about innocent Kurds, it was about an "invasion" "hybrid war" and the Poles were protecting Europe's borders from these Kurds.

u did and this is not the first, u know exactly what ur attempting and I do so as well. just a small reminder.
"Finland and Sweden so far has been more reasonable in their response vis-a-vis PKK."

Direct quote. If you have nothing else to add, accept defeat and stop before this gets stupider.

I am very doubtful that Greece will actually try to attack Turkey. But if it does, Turkey will be in the right because it will be the defender so you point doesn't make sense.

That is a weak argument Turkiye is %100 in the right when fighting against PKK terrorism but still Turkiye is seen as an aggressor. It doesn't matter who attacks first and escalation can be done in a way that Greece can have more diplomatic space. Downing of a TuAF fighter for allegedly flying over so-called Greek airspace, escalation over Turkish drilling in east med all of this can be presented as a rightful escalation with a bit of global press propaganda.
