Wake me up when Iranians actually get something done with their "revolutions", they've been having these mini uprisings every 2 years at this point.

Although maybe I shouldn't hope for Iranians to overthrow anyone because knowing what their opposition is like, they'll just bring back a Persian-supremacist monarchy except cranked up to 11. We have enough of those assholes on X yelling about how Azerbaijan is a fake country.

I think that was supposed to be sarcasm bro.

The Persian Monarchist types were perfectly fine when the Ayatollahs were crushing Southern Azerbaijani rights in Iran.

Israel accuses new NYC Mayor Zohran Mamdani of antisemitism on first day in office

1767428419689.jpeg

Israel’s foreign ministry accused New York City Mayor Zohran Mamdani of antisemitism on Friday, escalating tensions with the progressive leader within hours of him formally taking office.

...Israel’s criticism focused on Mamdani’s revocation of executive orders issued under his predecessor Eric Adams, including policies supportive of Israel.

...“On his very first day as New York City Mayor Mamdani shows his true face: He scraps the IHRA definition of antisemitism and lifts restrictions on boycotting Israel. This isn’t leadership. It’s antisemitic gasoline on an open fire,” Israel’s foreign ministry said in a post.

...Mamdani has repeatedly rejected accusations of antisemitism, arguing his criticism of Israel is rooted in human rights concerns. He has pledged to protect New York’s Jewish community, while maintaining his outspoken views on Middle East p
olicy.

Without any prior notice, Turkey has introduced a visa-free policy for Chinese citizens.
What exactly are the considerations and intentions behind this move.
It is important to note that China has not implemented a visa-free policy for Turkey

Panic in the Iranian leadership.

In recent days, protests have erupted across Iran amid the economic crisis.

…Nationwide protests in Iran have engulfed almost the entire country, spreading to 78 cities. The death toll from these protests is also rising: according to the latest reports, the number of injured has exceeded 50. Against this backdrop, Trump, speaking to reporters, again warned the Iranian authorities, declaring that if the protesters are killed, "the United States will strike very hard."

…The Times newspaper, citing an intelligence report, noted that if the unrest intensifies and security forces fail to suppress the protests, Khamenei will be flown to Moscow along with his entourage of 20 aides and family members.

Someone has already written that we sometimes notice an 80-year-old actor whose fame has long since faded, but who has been lingering on the stage for far too long, showing no signs of retirement. People have long hinted that he's getting old, that his former glory will never return, that everyone is tired of him, that it's time for him to retire. But he tells everyone that he's still young and that it's too early to write him off.
What are we to do with such a man? Four men grab him by the arms and legs and throw him off the stage? :)
But it's one thing when it comes to the theater and the actor, but what are Iranians to do with the mad Ayatollah, who is stubbornly leading a country of 90 million people into the abyss?:(

For Turkiye the change of that regime would be really really bad.
Unfortunately Mullahs brought a total chaos, also for Pakistan. As for Saudi it is unclear, it can go both ways but probably in the long run , it devastating too.
What the farce.
As I have always said Fascism is noble ideology. It truly is. In the total lack of the imperial Islamism , Fascism and enlightened dictatorship is the only way.

If Iran was not such assholes we would be actually helping them.

The problem is they laid the bed now they sleep in it.
93 mio habits. We don’t need more refugees. 10-20 mio will be expected , if the shit hit the fan. A total siege of Israel.

Aren't both Iranian liders Azeri? Khamnei and Pazashkian
True. A third of Iranians are Turkic. Besides Khamenei and Pazeshkian, many of our brothers are part of the Iranian military-political elite. We—South Azerbaijan and the Republic of Azerbaijan—are a single nation, divided 200 years ago by Russian occupation.

Before the Karabakh War, I often visited Southern Azerbaijan and spoke with our brothers about our unification. In fact, this was the most important question I always asked everyone I spoke with in Iran. Yes, they very much want unification. But, for the most part, they would like to annex the Republic of Azerbaijan to Southern Azerbaijan

That is unification to 🙂
Thanks mate
You probably know more about the Romanian-Moldovan issue. There are some similarities here, too. But the differences are far more significant.

The Russians have been trying to reach the warm southern seas for 300 years. They've waged several wars here with Turkey, Iran, and Afghanistan, even reaching Pakistan. But they've failed each time.
Of course, we wanted to unite with South Azerbaijan.

But the problem is actually quite complex: Iran's disunity and weakening are dangerous for us, not just for the Persians. If Iran disintegrates, it's highly likely that Russia will immediately take advantage of this, quickly and easily gaining access to the Persian Gulf! And that can't be allowed to happen.
As long as Russia remains strong, plunging Iran into chaos is unwise.
Therein lies the dilemma!

In fact, all the region's problems (and there are many) can be resolved without wars and hostility. After all, we see the example of the European Union. It turns out that when countries start cooperating, all problems, even the most complex ones, resolve themselves. But where there are fanatical, so-called ayatollahs, talking about reason is pointless.
Look at the horrors our northern neighbor, the Russian ayatollah, has been perpetrating in Ukraine for four years now! What kind of reason are we even talking about?! It's as if the whole world is going crazy :(

Yes, it has long been interesting to me how it is that Romania and Moldova have not united and how the people do not want to unite. It seems that time does its job. The saying is true that people are led by the belly.
I doubt that Russia or US can take Iran and successfully govern with it in the long run. But everything is also possible...

Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, regarding the deployment of Azerbaijani troops to Gaza: “Every citizen of Azerbaijan is precious to us. We have no intention of putting the lives and health of Azerbaijanis at risk for anyone. When we were in trouble, we were left to the mercy of our fate. No one defended us. This includes Palestine, despite all my respect for Palestine and my sharing in their suffering. To speak frankly, Palestine did not defend us either. Yes, there were decisions by the Organization of Islamic Cooperation that were supported by everyone. For this reason, we are grateful to all countries. Indeed, Azerbaijan has always supported Palestine and the establishment of a Palestinian state, both in the UN, in the Non-Aligned Movement, and in the Organization of Islamic Cooperation. The Embassy of Palestine in Azerbaijan is also operating, and this is made possible thanks to the financial support provided by Azerbaijan. Therefore, my stance has always been in this direction: The issues of Arab countries should be resolved by the Arab states themselves.”

reminds me of the Turks in Cyprus or the Uyghurs of East Turkestan.
