If they don't allow our own imams, we should not allow their own pastors. We should consider forming Turkish Church according to Turkish values.

Extremist crap is an excuse to take control. Plans like this have been in place since 911.

Bascially Muslims will now have to bend themselves to French Liberalism like the Christians.

Europe is witnessing the rising of a regional power that has its own agenda at foreign policy, and national policy that Turkiye is following is clashing with the benefits of them in Mediterranean, Libya, Syria and sea of island. European big boys are having difficulty to accept a new strong player in their league so showing strong resistance at present. I think They will slowly get used to this situation.

Honestly i support this move, France does indeed have a big religious extremism problem and those extremists come from uncontrolled mosques with uncertified imams.
Turkey only allows certified imams so does Germany and imports most imams from Turkey, same for Turkish mosques in France and basically every other Turkish mosque in Europe hence no problem of religious extremism from Turkish community in Europe.

It now only depends on how France is gonna regulate it, it can backfire badly if done wrong but there is surely a need to act in this regard, its for the better of everybody.
France should cooperate with Turkey which has great experince in the matter, i would even go as far as to say that Turkey is probably the only country that can help France to begin with if you ask me.

I support this move. Foreign-supported Islamic NGOs, mosques and madrassas are a big problem, and they are behind almost every single Islamist terrorist group being formed in society. They played a very crucial role in the rise of extremism and terrorism in Pakistan, and Pakistan helped the Taliban to rise in Afghanistan.

I don't think any Muslim can honestly oppose this move, given that most Muslim countries have only state-certified imams allowed to preach in mosques. In some countries, every Friday speech must be recorded and sent to the Interior Ministry who check what was said in the sermon.

Bangladesh closed down every Middle-East funded NGO and mosque back in 2005-6 and since then we haven't had any terrorist group being able to get any mentionable traction in society.
