From 5 to 30 Avanti jets they need to try hard to sell.

Yup. Actual reason for low number of builds is that noone is lining up to buy them. Avanti is fast, but it's also expensive to buy and maintain and also very loud. In production for more than 30 years with less than 300 built so far.

Increasing production numbers must mean they are either eyeing some nice contracts or have some promises in Italy and/or Turkey for some sales. Current facility can handle the mentioned numbers as he says, but they will still be pouring some money to increase workforce/shifts.
They are aiming to increase facilities to allow 30 jets per year; but current orderbook until 2028 is 24 aircraft. Good that they recognize their lack of current access and maintenance hubs in continental US. If Piaggio is to thrive, they need the US market.

"Baykar Piaggio Aerospace's budget rises by 49 million and the company also plans to hire 32 new employees....who illustrated the plan for the three-year period 2026-2028, which envisages, according to the unions, "an overall economic consistency of 159 million euro, including", precisely, "49 million added as a variation on the initial forecasts".

The lines of the industrial plan, the union points out, foresee, on the production side, the production of 5 aircraft by 2026 (plus 2 in the delivery phase); in 2027, there will be 8 aircraft on delivery and 9 in 2029, 'all covered by orders already finalised or about to be signed'.

In the engine area, adds the union, 'the commitment will see, on the one hand, the consolidation of activities already underway and, at the same time, the search for new orders (in particular with Safran and Honeywell). In the after-market and customer service area, progress will also have to be made with a view to entering the American market, developing agreements with maintenance centres in the USA and having our own warehouses there."

Bursa based HVS Aviation ordered 2 P180s. They recently got their air taxi certification and operate 2 G4s and a helicopter. @Zafer

Fantastic news, fantastic in that starting an aviation business is very risky and they say that "if you want to have a small fortune in aviation start with a big one". Good thing there are some gutsy people in Türkiye that can take the risk. His case is well supported by the fact that the plane they are operating is a Turkish maker supported plane and not only the operator company but also the maker of the plane should be working towards the succes of the new company. It is better than Baykar starting an airline as would be the case if there were no third parties who want to do that. When there is no users the maker start being the user and gives the services with the product they are making.

I wonder if they will be doing air taxy alone or will be doing some airliner stuff with sheduled flights. There was once an airline carrying people from Istanbul to touristic places flying out of the Halic seaplane landing location. But the company went bankrup because of poor revenue. If this guy has a solid business case it will be the start of a miracle. Türkiye can benefit from flights going out to foreign destinations that are not well served by airlines.
