Republic of Korea Army Task Force conducting familiarization training with United Arab Emirates Army counterparts on Feburary 17, 2025.
The Task Force, composed of K2 Black Panther tanks, K21 infantry fighting vehicles, K9A1 Thunder self-propelled howitzers, K600 Rhino combat engineer vehicles, and various supporting vehicles, departed South Korea on January 17, 2025, and arrived in UAE on Feburary 09. Republic of Korea Navy landing ship ROKS Cheon Ja Bong (LST-687) provided transportation for vehicles and troops assigned to the Task Force.

Cope cage for armored vehicles tested in some Army units. It was an experimental attempt. While it proved effective against drone top-down attacks, it was a one-time solution, and interference between various pieces of equipment remains an issue to be addressed in the future. If you look closely, the K-2 tank even has chain mail attached.
