Excuse me, the only real right wing party I see here is AfD and even they are pretty mild.
It's like center-right.

Shooting refugees at the border, denialism of Nazi crimes etc if thats mild to you (and I know you agree with the first part probably) you my friend are not far of from a Nazi party. That should make you think.

Yeah the EU and Europe needs social democrats at heart again in France, Germany and Italy. Spain is already onboard afaik.
You are right. Spain , Ireland and Portugal probably the few European countries that don't have right wing goverments.
@F-6 enthusiast Considering how left wing CDU already is, I see no point in drifting further left.
we had the labour party in UK that's probably even left of SPD (i think )

what is the healthcare system in Germany like ? . We have nationalised Healthcare (NHS). Govt owns almost all healthcare services and spends £130billion a year. Very good service , just have to wait a little bit but needs more funding.
Is the rail nationalised or privatised ? ours is mostly privatised and expensive AF ( compared to when I used to live in Italy and the fare was 21 euro from Arezzo to Rome one way )

Thanks

Healthcae is nationalized, people that earn more (something like 60k plus) can opt out and get private insurance. Service is good, Germany lacks some digitalization in this area. Anything digital is slow and painful here because of concern on private data etc.

British railways are known here as a bad example and why nationalized rail will probably never be a thing here. CDU governments considered privatizing, but no one would dare anything like it any more. DB is at the centre of Germans emission-free 2030 drive.

But its not exactly cheap, gotten better recently but if you have to book on short notice you will find yourself paying 100€+ for a line like Köln-Stuttgart (around 400km) and could fly there for 30-50€s pre-covid. Berlin with Ryanair was sometimes as cheap as 10-20€ and the train ticket around 100€. So they are working on that now.

Driving there with your car is also cheaper, but with the new co2 tax gas is supposed to get way more expensive, something like 50-70 cent per litre. The market has been liberalized lately and busses are now free to operate on long distances, so you can also get a bus that will take way longer 6-7 hours but only cost you 10-12€.

NGOs are not intelligence gathering organizations. That was totally pulled out of his ass.

Yes they do work in the interest of Germany, but they also do lots of good deads in the end in the country.

You cant just put all NGOs there is in the same bucket and just accept that because it fits your POV. @Huelague
Dear lord!..
I wouldn't have thought you could be so naive. Of course, not all NGO’s are working as intelligence. But these ones are do. And Merkel said it indirect. Remember the discussion about NSA affairs. Merkel:” Spy on friends are a no-go (to US).” To Turkey: “it’s a different case.”
What do you think what is Soros’ and other “Philanthropist” NGO’s are doing? Who is responsible for the war in Ukraine? Why is Putin labeling NGO’s as intelligence organizations?
Yes, not all NGO’s are same and some do good things. But do not be so naive.
Any idea what is the main work of intelligences? Collecting and evaluating of informations.

Look at the history of AfD. They was not a right party at the beginning. “They” were labeled as far rights, after then, they liked this label, because of high popularity and stayed in this corner .
Btw, the right parties in EU are anything else than EU friendly. That’s why they are hated by the rest parties. I vote for AfD, because of that reason. A strong EU is bad for Turkey.

What are the Bargaining powers of Labour Unions in Germany ? I heard that Factory workers get 40 % seats (by means of representatives) in board meetings. There is this perception that Germany has the most labour-friendly laws in europe is it true ?

Some are really powerful. Especially in the Metal branch. The story of representatives in board meetings is not true. And France has more Labour friendly laws than Germany.

Oh yeah, i take it personally insulting as someone who observed hundreds of ngo here in Bosnia and their modus operandi.
I can say only S.O.S Kinderdorf left positive and long term impact all others were huge money laundering machines and curtain for various inteligence dubious people. So pls spare us of your juvenile labeling.

No, it is not. If you want i can vivisect their scheme how they "helped" people and also how now IOM "helps"migrants for example, they are more corrpted then our officials but of course all with "legal" ground.
So, pls refrain from discreditation of other people opinions especially from reason if yours is formed by media reports.
