EHSİM

KTSS is a system that fires Chaff, Flare and other ammunition to provide protection against RF guided weapon systems and heat sensitive missiles. It is still used in all F-4E/2020, F-16 Block 30, 40 and 50 aircraft of our Air Force Command, and the maintenance and ELD activities of the system are covered by EHSİM. KTSS was certified by Lockheed Martin Aero during the Peace Onyx-3 modernization.

Özgür modernization of our F 16s, domestic AESA and A2A missiles or with little details like EHSİM'S expandable decoy Safe to claim that our F 16s will be the deadliest fighting falcons in the planet :devilish:

Since we are planing to keep them for some time dont know in coming years expecting works on a pod similar to Legion ''at least in limited numbers'' is not a wild guess IMHO

I don't know with what level of education and intelligence Pakistan can help us. Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Azerbaijan and other Turkic countries would be more helpful.

Educated Pakistanis living abroad and Pakistan's citizens studying abroad can help us...

With all due respect to Afghanistan, Pakistan and Arab countries, the political, humanitarian, administrative and democratic atmosphere in their countries makes it difficult for individuals to do this kind of work.

There is nothing racial here. I am against these countries on principle, I don't think they have anything to offer us.

For example, Iran could help us in these matters, despite everything. In terms of educated people and engineering.

We will outsource some parts that are cheaper to produce in Pakistan. Pakistan will earn some bucks we will keep costs under control.

Does that means Pak participation is Final and they will buy KAAN in numbers?

Abdul Qadeer Khan did most of his higher education and scientific studies in Europe.

Even this list can give us an idea. For such a big country...

International Mathematical Olympiad

By the way, as I said, there is no problem with Pakistanis who have studied abroad.

Nope. This is only for part production. Pakistan is not a partner yet. At this stage, Turkiye is looking for customers or investors with money. Azerbaijan will be both. Pakistan will probably buy Kaan or a similar Chinese product when the project matures. Pakistan doesn't have money to invest now.

Expandable decoys are the most important defence against the RF guided missiles, because this missiles including gökdoğan can lock on jammer source,so jamming pods are useless. The only usefull jamming can be made from distances that these missiles can not reach like tusaş hava soj project planes, non expandable decoys are also useful but they limit fighters maneuvers thats not so good

Missiles can only home on noise jamming, technically DRFM jammers with AESA antenna can be effective against A2A missiles.

So, no. Jamming pods are not useless.

However, BVR missiles with 2 way data link only activate their seeker at the very last moment. Which in practice, makes it very difficult even for the most advanced DRFM jammer to put up an effective counter measure.

Also, new generation missiles themselves are coming with AESA seekers. (Like Japanese AAM-4 or Chinese PL-15)

A fighter using two way data link missiles make him more time on locking prosess and vulnurable too,but it can be done by another aircraft or uavs.Yes aesa seekers is good for range and more resistant to ECM.

Well, there is no risk free scenario in combat.
But BVR missiles with 2 way data link is the choice of the future.

Two sealth fighters likely won't engage in BVR against each other. But many countries won't have stealth fighters any time soon so against those BVR missiles will dominate them. I imagine IIR seeker close range missiles will make a comeback for close range engagements of stealth fighters however.

Two LO fighters engagement envelope against each other is likely to be around 40/50km.
Due to advanced sensor IR (IRST+FLIR) and sensor fusion you are unlikely to get closer than that.
So, technically this would still be BVR scenario.
However there are IIR missiles with BVR capability. (Like MICA)
