I know that.I meant that even with a carry law that’s hard to carry the pistol in the clothing to go out in Turkey.(of coz in Turkiye sometimes law is a joke)

In USA that s up to the states law. New York and Texas is different.

Many Turkish Police or security personnel didnt know the law very well and make lots of trouble.And so many scan machine in big city.Bring gun outside can usually ruin your whole day.

To avoid checkpoint hassle you would be travelling in a car rather than using public transport and not go in shopping malls and all. Somebody should make a video of what Turkish civilian gun owners go through in daily life and compare it to, like, the US.

This would probably trigger the police to think that you are expecting a violent incident and they will want to know about it, LOL.

Do we have any companies testing stuff like 6.8mm? It's kinda weird US army decided on it when like entire rest of nato is going for stuff like HK416 including US marines. It's gonna make logistics difficult. We would be smart to offer alternatives if nato at large decides to stock up on it.

Yes so that s a dilemma in Turkiye.

If you are very rich and powerful,you have bodyguards with guns or place the gun in the car.

If you are just a normal civilian with carry license,carry guns in clothing usually make you trouble.

If you're an illegal immigrant, there's no need to worry.

Many years ago I had seen a man carrying a pistol in a city bus at 6 o'clok position without a holster and I was alarmed. No holster meant an unauthorized illegal use to me.

You can't do it, there is no 100% disallowing of illegal gun ownership. A gunsmith can make a gun in a small shop by himself and sell it at a good price. But if an illegal gun owner knows or suspects that the other side also have guns they will hesitate to use guns themselves. We don't have a big problem of guns in Türkiye but we don't have the satisfaction of owning guns either.
