What interesting from that channel is video of Pelita Air A320 that expand their business recently, which brought my mind to everywhere. This one was Sutowo’s “squadron” back during early 70s that was also involved during Operasi Flamboyan and became kind of like Indonesian Air America. Reportedly, Gen. Moerdani was also used Pelita like very much then. Herky for Pelita again when?

Honestly idk whether we still continue this programme, back in 2019 Chief of Air Staff back then ACM Yuyu Sutisna proposed the acquisition for 32 F-16V but now with current MoD, things have changed.

IMHO we need more C-130J-30 as 5 units bought were far from being enough for our needs and we do still need F-16 like fighter jets. Reliable, robust and highly operational.

it is true, the addition of the C 130 J is cheaper and easier to maintain than the A 400 M (more realistic in addition to the dream of having a large transport aircraft and the plan to offer full production rights to the C N235 which is already sluggish in the market) as well as the procurement of the F 16 V 72 & upgrade 33 The existing F16 (AM/BM & 52ID) is also more realistic and faster to arrive than buying the F 15 EX which is very expensive

Well if you follow the original plan as former Chief of Air Staff ACM Yuyu Sutisna as planned in 2019, what you are saying should be the goal but in the end it's not only what the service wants but also politicians above too.

yes that's right, political will is one of the determinants (purchase of rafale, sukhoi ,CBG,POHANG etc based on political desire) additionally also Green book and ACC from MRS. SMI is kuntji (with RMP)
