Though i much more worry on how the European doing their work, as you can see Rafale and Euro Fighter program is previously plague by severe delay and cost overrun. I would not say American don't have such tendencies lately, but American has knack to do the jobs rightly when they are hard Pressed, also almost 1 trillion US Dollar defense budget is no joke at all compared to whatever resources those European has to offer. Well, i am suspected the American would have their NGAD (USAF) and F/AXX (USN) program completed first before their European counterpart. As at the same time, American has working prototype for their loyal wingman fighter as inseparable part of Sixth generation fighter while i don't see the European has working projects except for the Turkish ones.

After 42 Rafale it's the most logical thing to do.

We are currently starting our deep defense cooperation with the French, so hopefully they also see us as one of the users of their next fighter generation and help us prepare ourselves for whatever they plan to offer us in the future.
