Eagle 2 is better in almost all aspects than Boramae.
In term of payload and range, Rafale is better than Boramae.
The Boramae should have decent stealth and some very modern radar and electronics. For the future you need reduced RCS to compete with 5th gen fighters. The Boramae might not be VLO but its RCS might be low enough to be able to face the J-20. Especially when the internal weapon bays are added.

Any news on the Qatari Mirage 2000? I read an article that said that Morocco has started to receive it from Qatar.

The article is quite dated...but even if Morocco does have its hand earlier than we do, I don't mind tho. Adding Mirage to a fleet of Rafale, F-16, F-15 and KF-21 isn't in the best interest from a maintenance viewpoint.
Actually, it's the same source that came out first with the news, while this last article is kind of an update of the previous one. I taught that Indonesia wanted them for the same purpose as Morocco, to replace some fighter jets.

Prabowo confirmed that Indonesia would buy Rafale, Mirage 2000 and F-15EX fighter jets

May 4, 2023 / by Author Poetra

Meanwhile, in terms of strengthening the Indonesian Air Force, Prabowo said that Indonesia had purchased a number of advanced fighter aircraft as well as intermediate fighter aircraft.

"We have signed a contract for the acquisition of the most advanced combat aircraft currently, namely the Rafale. Also to overcome the gap until the Rafale is operational, we will also acquire Mirage 2000 aircraft. Then we also hope that in the near future we will also be able to complete the acquisition contract for F-15s for our air force, "Prabowo said.

He clearly said Rafale, Mirage, and F-15EX. No mention of F-16V. This rumored plan to buy F-16V (alongside Chinese 052D) must be coming from outside MoD.

I just hope those Mirage got RDY-3 radar and include with Mica, magic wand, and SCALP.

I am also feeling so-so for the Mirage.

Mirage is dead end fighter. Its manufacturer no longer has good capability upgrade package for it.

But maybe it can be a good platform to experiment with for our local industry, like putting local build EASA foe example.

Do we have that capability?

I don know.
But ITB make some prototype and there is that ToT from Rafale deal.

There was a discussion here about putting AESA from French ToT to IFX but it's still "angan-angan". Just stick with Hanwha AESA for IFX.

IMO Mirage will fill the gap while F16 undergo upgrade (C/D), those 23 might take sometime to complete and we cant afford to have quantity reduced in readyness for the next couple of years I assume. The brand new one as I always said will still be on the table as an option, the need, the budget, the politics and the production time table will decide whether we are going to add additional brand new viper or not. As for F15EX, I still havent see the "hillal" yet 😁
