The good news for us is that we allocate separate budget to get the second-hand Mirage 2K (Qataris + Emiratis), while the $1 bil will be used for brand new jets in which Viper is competing against EF.

It means more jets and it's always good news.

With a delivery time of 24 months, I think it is too long to wait for Mirage 2000-5 ex Qatar with the aim of replenishing quickly, whether not first consider such as Greece or Egypt options for used Rafale F3 with a delivery of only 1 year and very reasonable for familiarization to Rafale F4 to be ordered.
